random thought…I’m suppposed to do ME lower tonight and I can’t decide whether to do front squats (never done for a max) or reverse bands deads (not done ever). Guess I’ll decide as I warm up.
new avi is smokin.
workouts are def working for you - I see you haven’t let up on the band fetish ![]()

I know, I know. Pete and his logic.
Actually, now that I think about it critically, I have a minor hip issue that is almost resolved. So, I’m going to pull instead of squat to give it a few more days rest.
If I was 100%, I would front squat for quad and core.

I really hope folks are getting the tongue in cheekness of the title.
ME lower
Reverse band deads. First time doing these. I loves dem. Full range of motion but you can really work on your starting speed and lockout.
Orange bands…-55 at the bottom, -0 at the top. Measured it. The EFS chart doesn’t work for me.
Took me a while to figure out how to set these up. I wanted the bands to deload at the top so that meant I couldn’t hang them from the rack. So, I used the pins. Ultimately, I think (don’t know for sure…thoughts??) it is better if the bands deload a bit sooner (mid-thigh?) so next time I’ll lower the pins. Or up the weight. Or something.
Reverse band DLs
225 x 3
315 x 3
405 x 1
465 x 1
495 x 1…vid
GMs
95 x 5
135 x 5
185 x 5
225 x 8…vid
Damn strong, good mornings looked like a pukey good time.
Nice lifting brosephus.
All this band lifting is just leading the way to a double ply bench shirt isn’t it?

Can I just make one out of an old denim shirt and some duct tape?
Nice strong pull. Awesome(er).
Definitely putting on the thick. And I would go with an old denim jacket, one size too small, and really good duct tape.
how’s your back feeling after those crazy GM?
bands and ducktape? sounds kinky ![]()

Definitely feeling it in my erectors and hamstrings. Now one of my favorite movements.
Bands, chains, duct tape. I’m going to need to be able to lock the shed from the inside…ya know, in case my wife is training with me and things get out of hand ![]()
Speaking of which, my wife was away for a week and got back yesterday. Being Mr. Mom can be a bunch of work but the reunion payoff is worth it.

Thanks Matty. Even though I just started doing them seriously a few weeks ago, I can see why many think they are the best posterior chain movement.

I’ve been checking my weight on my fancy new digital scale. My weight varies from 193 in the morning (obviously dehydrated) to about 199. I’d like to add about 5lbs in the next 6 weeks.
Solid work. Those good mornings looked excellent.
