Man, it is good to be home. Yesterday was Houston to Newark, Newark to Halifax, walk in door and then take son to 90 minute soccer practice, get home and crack open my duty-free bottle of Johnnie Walker Double Black and watch some Captain America with the kids.
Pete - that is a quality suggestion for a killing some time in a hotel. I was traveling with a female colleague so that would be a bit too familiar. Although she does apparently host an annual porn costume party.
Mainy - looking muscley, lean and sexy! I’m working on a pot of coffee right now but that view is a MUCH more effective morning wake up. But pic is cropped a bit high for full effect

Matty - layover was only about 90 minutes this time. But I’d love to get together for some bro-hugs and a double cheeseburger at Ruby Tuesday’s or a place of your choosing. I’m expecting screwed up flights in the future so I’ll be in touch.

Yes. Porn party > bro hugs (although Matty is pretty schmexy). I don’t know much about this party except there are costumes and toys and so on. i can’t go to a party like that hosted by someone I work with. I imagine a very awkward Monday morning at the office…“Hey, so about the anal lube incident. Ah, sorry about that.”
I would imagine that the party could either be the best or the worst that you’ve ever gone to. I would suspect it would be the latter and it would be super awkward come Monday. I think it’s something that sounds better than it really is…kinda like a nude beach.

kmc, I should be able to get to Trinidad in 7-8 hours including connection time in Toronto. That I can live with easily. With all the flying you do, I can imagine some of the craziness you have experienced.

I am very thankful that I don’t have to travel for work at this point. The separation anxiety, esp between me and my 5 year old, and 1.5 year old, would be horrible. My 5 year old last night complained about not being able to go to work with me. Have been bringing him to the BB club, he has already started holdling the boards on bench day.

Pete, I know what you mean. I will be traveling 3+ weeks between now and the end of March. It’s nice to be somewhere new but I don’t like planes (all the standing in line, sitting and waiting annoys me) and I miss the kids and wife. My boy’s eyes welled up when he gave me a welcome home hug.
