Wow, lotsa good werk man. Have a great trip.
Thanks man. Trip is OK. The 16 hours waiting for or flying in planes yesterday sucked and I hate being away from my family. But I ate dinner outside tonight which is a nice change from Nova Scotia this time of year
Git your numbers are great, your ready to do a meet, no doubt. I was starting to over think it. Now I’m going to lift some heavy weights give it 99% and see what happens no sweat brother.
Thanks all. Stress levels are much better and the weather in Trinidad is pretty damn nice. I am anxious to get home. Unfortunately, my wife will be leaving for a week in San Francisco the day before I get home.
I’m not in any hurry to do a meet. For now I’m content to compete against myself but I’m flattered by your encouragement.

those where some big pin squats in that last leg session
nice work git.
do you do them from the bottom up
they are a killer that way.
trini is nice.
you bastid
enjoy your trip
Thanks kmc. Ive tried bottom up a few times but if I set up anywhere close to parallel my position gets screwed up and it becomes a good morning-squat. Maybe Ill set up a bit higher so I can keep my form and try that…actually, I will now that I think of it. Good idea.
Trini is a nice country. I think I`m doing the Cayman Islands nxt month. Could be worse.
Just got time to watch that video, bad ass. His deads with no belt blew me away.
Sucks being on the road but sounds like your hotel gym is better than most. Can’t say I’ve ever seen a smith machine in a hotel gym.

That, sir, is a waste of some freakish potential on your part. I’ve found that committing to compete does more to motivate out of sheer fear of humiliating myself than any “self-talk” I’ve managed to muster thus far.
Either way, you kick ass. Or as Brett would say, it’s the dog’s bollocks.
Doing meets isn’t the holy grail or anything. I thought it was something I wanted to do, until I was actually training for it. It was stressful, a huge commitment, and it kind of makes me hate training.Do meets, don’t do meets. Whatever you want.I don’t get the big deal with pushing people towards competing. This was part of the reason I had to leave my powerlifting club, you HAD to compete to be a member, and I didn’t want to compete. There is really nothing wrong with training and getting stronger on your own terms.
