I am not a skinny bastard, 5’10 220lbs, but I like the look of the program. Would it be advantageous for me or should I maybe add some more volume.
Well, you can always train the traditional Westside way if you aren’t doing anything else like run for miles or play sports. I’m using a similar program like westside 4 skinny bastard to train this HS soccer player. He doesn’t NEED 2nd leg workout day because I have him running 4-5 times a week including soccer practices.
Believe me if you are truly busting your nuts on the lifts there is plenty of volume in the original plan,
220 at 5’10 is good but I assume you wanna get stronger? If so give the routine a good run and see where you want to go from there, maybe westside style conjugation or something else.

I am currently using the WSSB program, and am experiencing some good gains in my big lifts. I’m not a “skinny bastard” either 6-1, 200; but I thought this was a good change of pace and something to kick my butt into gear after taking two months off due to injuries and a cross-country move.
I’m going to continue with this routine for another two months, then I’m going to switch to another Westside-based program, although I haven’t decided what that will be yet.
I’d recommend giving it a try for a few months and then moving on to another strength-based program.

How did everything turn out? For those of you who used Westside for Skinny Bastards?
