Right now, pull-ups are definitely making it worse, but I am not convinced they are the original cause. That’s a longer conversation. But it is clear that I have been putting unusual amounts of torque on both my elbows over the years, and only a maximum of 50% of that is due to wanking.
Hadn’t thought of that. Solid point.
Sometimes this shit doesn’t make sense. I think last week I was moaning and groaning about deadlifts being bullshit. Today I decided to start out Sumo just to see if it felt better. It didn’t. 170 felt shitty, so I switched back to conventional. Fast forward, and a rep PR at 210. Never even did it for a double before.
