Weird, but impressive

Rest day yesterday, my body needed it. Felt fresh today, and “easy” squat day was on the menu, not much time for anything else.

  • Barbell Squat

    • 65 kg x 5 reps
    • 80 kg x 5 reps
    • 100 kg x 5 reps
    • 125 kg x 3 reps
    • 145 kg x 2 reps
    • 165 kg x 2 reps (rep PR)
    • 100 kg x 30 reps (rep PR)
  • Muscle-Up

    • 3 reps
    • 3 reps
    • 3 reps
  • Ab Wheel (standing)

    • 5 reps
    • 1 reps

165 for a double was nice, though tough. RPE 9 on the second one. 100 for 30…guys, this was NOT NICE. Do not recommend.

Cheers. No regrets. Like I said before, now I will add a little bit of weight and drop down to 20 reps and go from there.

For the first time ever, I feel my thighs are actually a bit muscley. Calves will never grow, however, I guess I am built for speed and aerodynamics.

Just an easy day, then hits 165 for a double and 30 reps at 100. You are in a really good space right now sir. Really enjoying seeing these PR’s. well done.

That’s why I put “easy” in quotes like that. It just means I am not doing the very heavy backoff sets. Switching between the two every 5 days or so.

I got it the first time but still like to pull your leg, keep up that easy work that you do mate

@wiseman83 this is a great place to come to hear about easy work outs and then see weekly PRs. Seriously though @Cyrrex is a more mature member like me and still strong as all hell. Simple hard work and progression in here, similar to the way we are doing it.

100kg for 30 reps…Sounds disgusting. I love it.
did 20 once. just to say i’d done it more than anything. You regret it greatly at about 15 reps…but at that point, what are ya gunna do, quit?

I have conditioned myself over the past months to get to 20 in pretty good shape, but yeah…at some point it becomes a question of how much torture you can put up with. The breathing becomes insane around 23 reps and just gets worse every rep thereafter and takes a good 15 minutes to settle your body down again when you’re done.

But being able to treat 100 like it’s your bitch…it is well worth it.

Off day yesterday due to lack of time. Short session today due to lack of time. This is happening a lot lately. Whatever. Inclines today a repeat from last time, just with more reps. 105 is still sloppy, but I did squeeze out one more, and that was what I was aiming for.
