Bit of an odd day today. Slept poorly and a bit underfed, but actually feel pretty good. Bumped my TM up to 92.5, because I am pretty certain I can get that every time out. On the other hand, I couldn’t find the 1.25 kilo plates, so I had to round up. So I actually failed the topset of 95…I think I was just over confident. Got it again on the second attempt after pulling my ass together. Actually gave 100 an attempt for the first time, and failed it. But it was oh so close. Might have had it if I hadn’t blown my load on two attempts at 95. I think I am going to have to go after it now that it is within spitting distance.
That got me pretty weary for the backoffs, so just did sets of 5 at some heavier weights than required.

Pretty weird to me that I am pressing 90+ routinely now. A year-and-a-half ago I did it once and expected to never do it again.

Don’t really like two push days in a row, but I felt like I needed to make up for lost time, so I combined a bit of push and pull. Turned out to be a pretty good idea, but my arms are feeling pretty weary.
Another incline PR, and it wasn’t even an RPE 10. Will have to set the TM up next time (from 110 to something else). I think I will continue to emphasize incline and reduce or possibly even phase out declines for a while. I think the incline/press synergy is working pretty well at the moment.

Well now I am confused, because vegemite is surely nothing like Sahne. Assuming Sahne is basically just the cream you use to make whipped cream.
For the record, I have definitely eaten straight whipped cream in my life. I have even probably eaten a half tub of Cool Whip at some point. I expect both of these things are better than vegemite.
Vegemite is rich in B-12 and can be used to make moonshine.

19 days since last update. I still have not made any major shifts in my training, because it is hard to justify doing so when things are going relatively well. My bodyweight has been pretty level for many weeks now (hovering in the low 86s at wakeup), but there has still been some progress.
Deadlift: Still nope.
Squat: Hit a decent rep at 170
Decline: Still 145. Have not been going after these for a bunch of weeks.
Incline: Hit 122.5
Press: Hit 97.5, assuming you accept my little wiggle move.
These are all relatively recent PRs, so I think it is fair to say I have never been stronger than I am right now. It is kinda weird. I think the reason it has been working is because I am basically on a 5 day split, where two of those days are dedicated to pushing movements. Dropping the deads is probably a key to it, because it means I recover quickly enough to keep up this pace.
It probably helps that I keep things extremely simple. Some of y’all bitches complicate things too much.

Cool Whip is basically what you get when you taste whipping cream and think to yourself “You know what this needs? Way way way more sugar!”. A fairly American thing to do.
