Another sleepy, low energy day. But whattaya gonna do, have to get the squats in. Put the TM up to 155, and it was pretty tough (nearly stalled completely) so no jokers. Good thing about moving TM up is that it moves up the backoff sets as well, so everything moves forwards just a little.

Bleh. I think my press is officially stalled, cannot seem to quite break through this little plateau. Strange that I have been getting decline/incline PRs at a relatively low bodyweight, and yet my press is stuck. It might just be that my bodyweight is holding me back on this, but not on other things.

Just did whatever for deadlifts today, I truly don’t care. My only intent with these right now is to occasionally lift something sorta heavy, but in no way that adversely impacts my recovery. Set an incline PR, which was cool, followed by a fail at 117.5, which was not cool. Seemed it was close, but the PR set mighta taken too much out of me.

Ugh, not sure what I was thinking, but I hit 115 on the incline for a PR last week and had sorta forgotten. So yesterday was just a repeat. I am now actively annoyed that I failed 117.5, that’s some bullshit.

As I think my bodyweight is now averaging around the 83 kilo mark, now’s a good time to update some ratios…it might be time to start shifting focus.

Deadlift 210 - 2.53 x bodyweight
Squat 160 - 1.93 x bodyweight
Decline 142 - 1.71 x bodyweight
Incline 115 - 1.39 x bodyweight
Press 85 - 1.02 x bodyweight
Push Press 112 - 1.35 bodyweight

Objectively, I guess I can be happy with these ratios. I would still like to improve the press ratio, but it is a tricky bugger.

I have almost dropped all cardio, which is bad. I don’t have a definitive plan yet, but I think I need to shift focus a bit, but without messing up the above numbers too much. An engine upgrade, perhaps, where I eat a bit more and add a bit more conditioning at the same time.

Another press day. Not loving it, but okay. Failed first attempt at 85. I think I have failed more lifts in the last 2 months than I have in the last 10 years, so that is fun.

Squat day today, not following the program. Decided to rep 140 to see if I could get to 5, and that was decent. Was also decent that I could single 150 after that. Maybe I should focus for a spell around this 140 mark and improve my repping capacity there. Kinda feel maybe I should be doing similar things with all my lifts.
