I drink too much coffee, so I have perpetual coffee shits. TMI, probably.
I wanna say it is Paul Carter’s invention, but you pick a challenging weight and give yourself three sets to do fifty reps. If you manage all fifty, increase the weight a smidge. It is apparently a good hypertrophy scheme. I can tell you at least that it burns like hell.

Even before you posted this response I was thinking that I should un-install my toilets and just do that hole-in-the-floor thing that is so popular in other parts of the world. For maximum gains.

I guess what sorta makes these easy is that, even when done on plates, the ROM really isn’t that extreme. Feels like cheating.

Obviously. Actually, I think I just went down with it quickly without actually dropping.
I do drop deads, but more as a deliberate tactic than anything else. It is a crossfit area designed for such things, so nothing out of the ordinary.

Bonus day today. The kid was back to reasonable health, so I had to get him back both squatting and benching. I myself had been on the bench like 4 or 5 days ago, so I wasn’t going to do that. But then I did anyway…figure at this point the 350 sets are not wearing me down so much that I can’t do them twice a week.

This shit is kinda crazy. There is no way I am gonna do 50 reps at this weight, it was hard enough at 70. And then somehow I manage 54. Lol, this shit is hard. I think I still feel the pump two hours later, and I never feel the pump.
That’s all I did though, deliberately being a bit lazy today since it should be an OFF day.
Day C workout log commencing.
Gyms all closed, country on semi-lockdown.
Exercise plan today started at 8am, where I went to the local store and managed to make it all the way through without murdering anyone.
Farmer Carry: I would say about 30kg per hand for fifty meters from the car to my front door carrying panic groceries. Had to set it down a few times to close the trunk lid, fumble for keys, etc., so made sure to slam them down emphatically for any passersby who were no doubt impressed. Also made sure to squeeze the lats extra hard for the toilet paper rolls I was also carrying under my armpit.
Might have to give Bob a go later. I have a feeling Bob is going to get the shit beat out of him over the coming weeks.

Indeed. But in this case, closing stuff down is the wise thing. We appear to be on the same trajectory as Italy, and Italy is looking pretty bad right now. Delaying the inevitable will just make it worse.
On the bright side, I have so much protein in my freezer and absolutely zero vegetables, so I am probably well positioned for some kind of 100% meat based diet.
I am not sure it is a wise thing but I don’t really want to get into the whole thing.
Ultimately…it doesn’t even matter, because I am left without choice. Can’t go to work, kids can’t go to school, gyms close, events and activities all canceled, people going to the store and buying rain forests’ worth of toilet paper.
Have little choice but to follow suit.
