You can sometimes negotiate on the equipment. I bought my power rack from them (bodysolid) and am pretty sure that it was less than $400 which matches most of the online prices. The good thing about bodysolid stuff is that it comes with a lifetime warrenty and is definitely built to last - we were doing 600 lbs squats, heavy rack pulls, loading 425 lbs stones in it… all kinds of stuff.
Sucks that they didn’t have the belt; I bought mine at Fitness2000 but it is probably not a high demand item for them. They could have probably ordered one for you if you were willing to wait.
In the end it sounds like you got something that will suit you well. For $20 you can’t beat the price and if you end up getting to the point in a year or two where you need something more you can always upgrade.
I prefer “grizzly” brand. Might be semantics either way but gives me the illusion/impression of creating thick, dense lower back support.
