Of course training carries over into other areas of life. I run a cattle station in Oz and throwing around 90 lb bags of feed all day would be a hell of a lot harder if I didn’t train.
Big Martin, you hit the nail on the head when you said “wanabe cowboys.” We are starting to get the same type over here. They are generally kids who couldn’t hold a job in town so they go bush. You are right about the ego thing that goes along with them as well. Maybe we really are turning into America
I think the US farming industries are much more intensive than here hence smaller farms, less physical labour and a chance for farmers to get fat.
