Weight Gainers

Nlarge2, I missed that stuff, it tasted so good with milk.

It takes up one blender. Which is about 32 oz in my case.

I use this after EVERY workout.

It helped me go from 180 to 245 in a year and a half with a fast ass metabolism.
Just out of intrest, if you had it measure or just a rough estimate, what did you BF% do in that time?

2 receipes here from Chris Shugart

Quality Mass Shake #1: Low-Carb Peanut Butter Cup Bliss

Two scoops of chocolate Metabolic Drive
Two servings of natural peanut butter
2 Cups of Carb Countdown Milk
1 serving fat free cottage cheese
Calories: 770
Protein: 85 grams

Quality Mass Shake #2: Low-Fat Fruit Smoothie

2 Scoops Metabolic Drive ? strawberry, orange cream or banana cream flavor
1 big banana
1 packet of instant, non-flavored oatmeal or Weight Control oatmeal
8 ounces of light yogurt
2 cups of skim milk
Calories: 800
Protein: 70 grams

obviously the Metabolic Drive can be subbed for normal whey protein and small adjusments can be made but both are good bases to start from or just have as is. No rubbish sugar or shitty fats in there either.

It went up 4%. From 10% to 14% it was measured in a hydrostatic tub.

Here is my favorite weight gainer. It’s cheap, healthy, taste great, and very easily modified to fit your muscle building caloric needs.

1/2 cup oats
75 grams protein powder
5 tbs peanut butter
2 bananas
3 cups whole milk (or however much you need to make it. For added awesomeness use chocolate milk)
1 cup extra light tasting olive oil (MAKE SURE ITS EXTRA LIGHT!!!)

Totals:

3,557 calories 119 grams protein.

You will not taste the olive oil if it is light tasting otherwise, you’ll die. I wouldn’t waste my money on a pre-made weight gainer personally.

Food+blender=awesome weight gainer.
That’s fucking retarded.

1 cup of olive oil? This is a nutrition forum, not a youtube video for most ‘epic mealtime’ or some other ludicrous food concoctions.

Seriously this is one of the dumber posts in this forum. The amount of fat in that meal is far far more than any person could possibly need in one day. Comes out to about 280g of fat. And yes this blanket statement is appropriate even though most arent.

Please post a pic of your physique btw

There.

Looks like that weight gainer was justified to me. Dude must be like 6’6" if those pics are true.

He’s 6’3 and barely looks like he lifts. Obviously there’s a marked difference between the before and after. But at 6’3 230 the guy should not be soft. That’s simply not big AT ALL for that height.

A lot of things seem to be justified in your eyes. 220g of fat in one meal is still retarded.

Meeko. Take this as an eye opener. Youre on your way to a bulk fail. Trust me, Ive seen it before. Youre not the first and surely not the last.
Im not going to assume the worst and believe you still eat that dumbass “meal” but all it takes is a bit of education and a lot of effort to put together a meal plan that will allow much better muscle gain.

Dude, first off, you have NEVER seen me advocate adding a ton of olive oil to a shake. I personally think that is retarded…but again, the ends justify the means and this kid is by no means fat and could honestly stand to gain some more weight

You came in here with gunz ‘a blazin’ trying to degrade this kid when what he did actually worked.

That would be like jumping in and reprimanding me 10 years ago for eating fast food to get big. It fucking worked. You can keep your lessons to yourself when that happens.

For the average person, hell no, you will never see me tell someone to do this.

But everyone isn’t the same…and the people who really stand out are the ones not afraid to just try some shit sometimes.

Oh. And I call bullshit on that being a difference in 65lbs unless you grew quite a few inches.

What this comes down to for the people reading is if you think the person making the recommendation made great or even just good progress then follow his advice. If not, then dont.

Im done before this turns into another ‘permabulk or die’ thread

I value your opinion tremendously on this site. You being one of the more advanced members of this site I know you know your stuff, so thank you for your input. I am 6’5 that is a big frame that requires a lot of mass (I have not grown). In the before picture I was one week out of the hospital and a frail 180.

Yes I am soft but I’ve also gained 70 pounds in a year and a half and my strength has exploded. My arms in the before picture were 13 inches and now they are 17, not huge but that does require a significant amount more mass. I may be soft but I bust my ass every workout and crush weights that stapled me only a few weeks ago.

I know I’m a beginner and have a lot to learn and this may have been “retarded” but I don’t feel like wasting any time in achieving my goals of being very large. I am making progress and I am going to continue to learn and grow.

?

I agree on one point…people should take advice from guys who have the results to back up the shit they are talking. If “Olive Oil Boy” is your goal, then follow “olive oil boy’s” advice.

What he did clearly packed some weight on him and no one can take that away from him.

If he ends up looking like an NPC competitor, then I am sure “Olive Oil Shakes” will be the next new thang.

Then again, if it was the best idea in the world, bodybuilders would already be on it.

The moral of the story?

Some crazy shit works for some people…and the really crazy fuckers are the ones who walk into a room and everyone takes notice.

Anything else is bullshit.

Your pictures did that.
