Weed & Bodybuilding: The Good & The Bad

Im 5"11
168 Pounds.
Can Bench 270 pounds
Leg Press 720 pounds
Curl Max the 50LB dumbells
can do pull-ups with 65 pounds added on to my belt.

anyway thats just a little bit of info so You guys know Im in good shape. Not amazing but good.

QUESTION IS!

WEED - Yes the herb Cannabis , Dank shit only!

If you happen to smoke it on the weekends 1-2 days only, Does that Effect My Body in Building more Muscle?
Im not trying to get super huge, IN FACT I just want to get up to
190 Pounds of Lean Muscle and maintain my shape at That state of muscle mass and weight.
Im at 168 right now.

PLEASE dont give me crap, I know i shouldn’t even try it in the 1st place, and Im going to quit it if I feel like it, depends on how much it effects my Bodybuilding as My Body is more important then getting high on the weekends
(( I do it Just because it feels good , I seem to be more social as Im really a shy guy around people ))

anyway I have only done this weekend smoking for about 45 days so far.
got high 18 times so far in total. Yes thats it.

—WHAT I FEEL Different since I started smoking ( only weed no other drugs )

– I feeel way more relaxed around people, talk more.
–I feel better when Im SORE cuz weed relaxes your muscles.
–Only bad thing I feel is that my throat hurts, cuz I probably burnt it with the smoke, ( BIG HITS )
–and thats all I can think of. I still go to school and I still workout like always ( 4 days a week )
–Still working too ( I sell electronics ) Make 2G’s a Month on average.

Shoot some info my Way guys, I know you guys know more then me a 20 Year old guy.

–I just want to know if I can keep growing.

This has been debated a thousand, billion times on here.

I’m just going to say what I have to say and peace out, because I know the direction these threads take.

I smoke weed. A lot of it. On a daily basis. I don’t smoke cigarettes, though.

My lung capacity is fine. I managed to lose 150 lbs while smoking every day. I then managed to put on somewhere between 15-25 lbs of muscle my first year of bulking while continuing to smoke every day.

Now, to be fair, I don’t smoke before I lift… no questions asked. Not 10 hours prior, not 8 hours, not at all. But dammit, when I get out of a brutal workout it helps me relax, put away some massive food, and just get on with the rest of my day.

And not everyone can get away with that, and I recognize that. By the way - I’m just a hair under 22.

Weed affects everyone differently, can’t we just leave it at that?

I find it hilarious that you ask other people for their opinion, it only matters what you think. If you can grow to your 190 lean body mass while smoking weed, who is there to judge you.

Yep. Good hard workout, smoke a reasonable amount (don’t get completely couch locked baked), eat some good food, get some good sleep. Helps a ton.

255LB bench press 2x easy,
and then the 270LBs 1 time, and it takes me like 8 seconds to get it all the way up.
Its my max.
I guess Im very impressive on my bench huh
