go check out Dixies Finest’s log. He did fucking awesome at his first meet, geared and all. I am so fucking happy for him…
You’re a good son. It needed to be said. I continue to admire quietly from the corner… I’m such a nerd.
25 elliptical
20 bike
took kids swimming, almost 5 year old ditched the floaties and started diving under water for the first time this week, awesome stuff
Coach, it was Chris Janek
30 reps? Can you count that high? I was made fun of once when I did 16 reps.
Thanks for the tip on Dixie’s log. I’ll check it out.
Janek is a effen beast. plain and simple. and he does PL ‘for fun’
O, I can’t count that high. Notice at 27 I paused to ask where I was at. Training partner hit 230 x 21 last week and made a deal out of it. I added 5 to the bar and 9 reps. Should be able to hit that for 35-40 in a couple of weeks, if I decide so.
All kinds of great stuff going on in here. First we have the good son, then we have great sled dragging, then cardio in the form of benching, then promoting a fellow powerlifter, and lastly we have some first time solo swimming. Great stuff indeed!
I agree that the sump would be the best option but how often is it going to flood like that? It might not be cost efficient to do that.
james
thanks james.
itching to get out of work and go pull. slow day here, unfortunately raining like crazy so nervous about more water in the basement
I heard what DF did on google+ awesome stuff as is you repping out that 230…maybe next time make it challenging use only one arm lol.
google+??? finally got the fb thing figured out…
Impressive benching, but not surprising, 'cause you one big, strong mofo.
Now that amazing arch, that’s surprising. Next you’ll be doing Savickas presses from the splits.
Nice reps Pete
Nice benching Pete, boat load of reps!

The bench vid was so cool! as for the rest of your workouts the numbers are just mindboggling…so I will say well done on the pull PR, Pete…
Maybe you already said . . . but what’s the purpose of such a high-rep set?
About the PVC pipe, did you lose your arch because the pipe was doing the work of it for you? Or what? I’ve never had much of an arch. Have incredible flexibility in some parts of my body. Not so with my lower back.
And I’m having a terrible time with insomnia too these days. So I can sympathize with you.
