thanks late.
Happy Fucking Birthday!!! You youngster.
Rick
Yesterday was supposed to do elliptical in my basement. My basement was messy and smelt like wet dogs, so instead took it outside, 1.5 mile walk followed by 20 minutes foam roll, stretch.
When men turn 40 they go bald and blow up to over 250 lbs. I know. It happend to me.

That’s much nicer. I don’t know why anyone would choose elliptical when you can go outside. It’s probably good in the winter though right?

yeah, that is kind of the way I feel about it. winter good option, I really want to try and get as much done outside this time of year though. will be under 5 feet of snow again before I know it
long work day, finalized by last meeting of the day running 1/2 hour late, which placed me late to the gym
like many long days of meetings I spent most of it thinking about training. I was up either for a circa max against bands or a deload. I kept debating either way.
got to the gym and the ssb was in the mono, so this is what I did instead:)
foam roll, stretch
raw ssb box squat (count bar as 45) 135 x 10, 225/315/405/455/495 x 5, which I believe is a +3 PR
ghr bwt x 10, 10 x 10, 25 x 10, x 10
leg raise 4 x 10-15
prowler 90lb x 40yrd x 8
Nice job on the PR
Congrats on the PR Pete. Very impressive squatting and I have no idea how you hit the prowler after that. I’d be tossing my cookies all over the neighborhood after a training session like that.
lunch time nonsense:
elliptical 20 minutes
stepper 20 minutes
hrt rt 135-140
then decided to some assistance crap
behind the back shrug 3 x 15
dumbbell shrug 3 x 15
calves 6 x 15-20
bb curl 4 x 8-10 w/135
alt cable curl 2 x 15
wrist curls 4 x 10-20
decline sits bwt x 30, 80lb x 12, x 12
Happy belated Pete, hope you had a great time.

Oh that sucks!!! Hopefully nothing got to messed up.
Dday, it’s a disaster, three inches of water across entire floor, been pitchforking up old flooring for last couple of days, while also contracting some flu like thing. Yesterday all I could hold down as a bit of yogurt, some grapes, and a grilled cheese. Now up and off to work, and gotta figure out drain tile, sump, and new flooring for basement. And still tear up another 300 sq ft of old floor or so.
Sorry for your troubles Pete…and get to feeling better!
That sucks. What happened? Where did it come from? Several years ago I had two water traps go for a shit in the same summer resulting in my basement being excavated.
Just keep moving forward. Will insurance cover the damage?
Water tables are just that high from the rains this year, it all just came up from the ground. No, insurance will not cover, so this really sucks…
