When I was young, I was taught that marijuana was a gateway drug and I would become a heroine addiction if I even thought about taking a hit. I’m definitely not advocating hard core drugs. Although when I’m 80 and dying, I can’t say I won’t see what those are all about LMAO.
This was what I was taught too… though I did my fair share of research and found that to be false. There’s a distinct difference between hard and soft drugs… then there’s in-between… I don’t believe cannabis is a gateway drug, if anything that’s booze as that was the first thing I tried… At a family event mind you (Orthodox/Modern Orthodox Jews tend to be very liberal about booze come purim or passover)… Here’s a little story…
I was at my rabbis, drank a little bit too much, got a bit tipsy (not drunk)… So I like spicy foods but was told I wouldn’t be able to handle newly made horseradish… I’d tried horseradish en mass from the grocery store and felt like king shit, so I take a MASSIVE amount of this horseradish and shovel it in my mouth… it burns… it really burns… my eyes water, my nose starts running, I start coughing tremendously… All of a sudden (keep in mind this isn’t because I’m drunk… was just tipsy… it’s because my body physically can’t handle a mouthful of newly made, extra strong horseradish) I feel intensely nauseous and throw up the horse radish in full view of everyone whom I’m trying to convince “I can handle this”… Keep in mind I was well below 18 in this story, probably closer to fifteen… and I was only given a few small cups of wine… still… fifteen… I then took all the wine from anyone who didn’t want and drank it…
The first time I got “off my face” from alcohol was near my 18th birthday… like two days before
No one was pissed off, as a matter of fact everyone thought it was hysterical… probably because all the adults were drunk (edit: I forget which holiday is which… it was Passover… I’m the worst Jew ever lol)… I didn’t live that down for a solid two years…
People come in all flavors, shapes, and sizes. It’s simply the genetic pool at work.
I have teenage boys. I am very proud that they don’t vape. I do not want them to try things once and think it’s ok. Try tainted heroin once and you can be dead.
I also wasn’t rebillious when younger. I just smoked cigarettes for about 6 months. Lol.
I regret it maybe 5 percent.
I also wasn’t the type of guy that can just do one night stands. I needed an emotional connection.
You can have plenty of fun with zero drugs and alcohol.
Nowadays girls in high school are expected to blow you even on the first date… Fuck I don’t think that was the case when I went to high school.
Am teaching my sons self respect and that they control who gets to touch it or play with their privates. They need to have standards and not let anyone suck them off.
This isn’t true… at least not where I live, in 2020 we have more respect for females than this, or at least we should… because expecting a blowjob on a first date is disgraceful. If a girl decides to give you fellatio, that’s her decision, but the notion of girls being pressured to conform regarding sexual ideals doesn’t stem true… at least where I live/lived
This is a very conservative ideology to harbour… Trying heroin is a very extreme example, I think OP was referring to say taking a drag of a marijuana cigarette, as statistically a large portion of teens have, this hasn’t changed since the 1960’s… this won’t lead to one using heroin. That being said, one shouldn’t SUPPORT this kind of behaviour, especially stemming from a child… Parenting should set certain deterrents, I know for a fact whenever I’ve engaged in illicit substance abuse/drank (both fall within the umbrella of recreational drug use) I’ve always had this voice in my head “my parents would be so disappointed in me, if I get caught I’m completely fucked”… it’s a deterrent mechanism of sorts, as guilt dulls a night out
This is rebellious if you were under 18… vaping is the same, I don’t know why vaping is for whatever reason societally viewed within a different light. Whilst it may share only a fraction of the carcinogenicity, direct cellular/systematic damage associated with chronic intake of cigarettes, nicotine is nicotine… It’s still a HIGHLY addictive drug, and if more funding isn’t put out regarding advertising/public education we will have rates of nicotine vaping skyrocket amongst youth comparative once again to how many youth’s smoked in the 40’s 50’s 60’s and 70’s… If this becomes the case I’d be very upset, as it would imply the tobacco industry has once again swindled us all with deceptive marketing.
How old are your children? Are they young, like 13-16 or older (17-20), there’s a fairly big difference between a 13 year old vaping and a 20 year old vaping. Neurologically the nicotine is far more reinforcing/detrimental regarding cognitive stunting the younger you are… I recall you’re kids were about fourteen? If this is the case, tread carefully… at fourteen many kids will still be willing to listen… at age 17-18 is when things have the potential to get very tricky, especially when approaching college. I don’t know you’re children, how they interact… but statistically environment can play a large role regarding influence/decision… If you expect them not to crack open a single beer when 18 and in college I think you’ll be rather dissapointed, given I could be wrong… Also you shouldn’t be ‘proud’ they don’t vape, at fourteen they’d better not be smoking… there’s no age in which it’s ever “okay” to smoke, vape, drink, use drugs etc… but there is certainly an age wherein it’s outright unacceptable, and fourteen would fit within that bracket
YOU might not regret this, we are all different… Some perceive fun to be found in partying, having massive nights out (regarding of drugs being involved), others are introverted, find fun within curling up on the couch with a book in hand. Don’t judge others based on perception/regrets, experimentation is an inherently normal aspect of humanity (not to say said behaviour is “right” either). Just because you didn’t experiment with anything in you’re 20’s/30’s/late teens/whenever doesn’t mean “No one will they regret abstaining because I didn’t regret it”
Though I applaud you for abstaining, as theoretically it’s the right decision to make… But if you were one of those guys that got plastered the second they hit legal age, don’t think you’re any different, there’s no moral high ground there… you might not be, but I’m putting it out there because there are many here (kids even) who will stigmatise those who decide to smoke pot over pounding back an entire bottle of vodka.
(overall within my argument, given that I realised it conveyed many ideologies… here’s what I’m saying summed up) You’re trying to argue teenagers shouldn’t be using drugs… I agree, the notion of kids experimenting with drugs is one that a parent should always discourage… but statistically speaking, chances are eventually you’re kids will try something later down the line (be it smoking a cigarette, drinking a beer, taking a drag off a joint)… Given the prevalence of teenage experimentation, I firmly believe that whilst it’s vitally important to make sure you don’t condone, reinforce or approve of these festivities… severely punishing the child probably isn’t an adequate response had something along these lines come to fruition.
Gonna say that this is one of the dumbest threads ever. If youre turned on youre turned on. Plain and simple. SMH… Ive been around for a long time. And my dick drips whenever new pussy steps up
Yeah this thread is pretty dumb. I understand getting bloodwork done and running tests for T Replacement and Pharma, but not everything needs medical intervention, ESPECIALLY when you’re overthinking, nitpicking, and possibly imagining all these extra symptoms.
As the father of daughters (and a son) thank you sir. Teaching all of them self respect will vastly improve society as a whole. Boys AND girls.
I was wishing I was back to high school there for a second, haha. There were certainly some girls with questionable morals back then but I certainly wouldn’t have considered first date blow jobs as “expected”
Wow, I go away for the weekend and boom! Thread goes crazy…
To address somethings, yes, it’s annoying. When I’m w the gf I’m always trying to secretively wipe it off, but my boxers get a little wet in spots. And of course, THAT’S noticeable. She’s made a comment here or there negatively. Which pisses me off bc my face is buried 24/7. (unreal, you’ll get there. Find one with impeccable hygiene however).
This has to be TRT related as it hasn’t been this way since I was about 16. I’m 41 now. I’m not horny by any means either.
I guess it’s not a big deal… just wondered if others had this experience.
I’d bet it’s the increase in DHT creating more prostate fluid or something like that.
But since when was it a prerequisite that a blowjob was normal after a first date? This is 2020, we have the #metoo movement, we have first and new wave feminism… how Is it, that in a DEVELOPED country like the USA an unrealistic/degrading expectation like this could still be present… it pisses me off to think this is the ideology harboured by todays youth.
If a blowjoob is a pre-requisite, then so should giving the girl oral sex… but in reality sexuality/sexual interaction shouldn’t be forced upon those uncomfortable with it… ever
@unreal24278
I don’t know where those folks live but I can tell you in NYC, Mississippi & Louisiana there aren’t any girls just doling out free blow jobs.
The first prat of the statement is true and supported by some medical literature (not much written on the topic). Higher DHT is post TRT is probably the cause. The second part is not. true pre-ejectulate (a clear nearly odorless fluid that seeps out prior to ejaculation), comes from the Cowper’s gland, which is present in all males (and females) but is more active in some individuals than others. The upper end of activity is most likely related to the population density of DHT receptors within the gland.
Can you do anything about it? Yes, reduce DHT pre-TRT levels, but you have to ask yourself the serious question whether adding another drug with it’s own set of potential side-effects is worth the treatment outcome. Personally, the answer is no, but I do use finasteride for other reasons. High DHT levels also drive increased red blood cell production.
Dexter points to anecdotal accounts of potential serious long-term side-effects of finateride use. Personally, I think these guys have other issues that most likely not finasteride related, and they need to point a finger at something, so finasteride becomes an easy target. However, that’s not the topic at hand, so let’s not hijack this thread which asks a legitimate question and deserves an answer.
Gotta come to oregon for that
Fuck I’ve been playing for the wrong team this whole time. Should have been dyeing my hair blue, make a Bernie sign and joined Antifa to get the free blow jobs.
Interesting! I learned something today
Remember, when they ask you “What do you think of women’s rights?” The right answer is always “They better than women’s wrongs” and laugh
Lol!
Hate to break it to you boomer but this shit ain’t new.
