Post-Election brought out the crazies, as usual. And because Feminism wasn’t militant enough, the obvious solution is to further radicalize it.
Many women are now claiming to adopt the 4B Movement out of Korea.
For anyone unfamiliar with what this is, the “B” is loosely translated to “no”… here’s the breakdown:
no with sex men
no giving birth
no dating men
no marriage with men
They are openly misandric (the opposite of mysoginistic - in the literal definition, not the societal definition).
I put very little stock in people’s words as I put far more value on their actions, so I don’t know if I believe these proclamations of abolishing men are real, but I think it warrants discussion.
How much more do these fatherless nags want from us?
How much longer must we endure their stupid fucking opinions? They literally think they would be safer in the woods with a bear than an average man
What do they think the outcome will be if they continue to alienate young men with nothing to lose?
They’re either already lesbians anyways or they’re going to get horny and change their minds. I highly doubt this “movement” will find significant traction.
I agree, in part.
I don’t think these women will really do anything different in their day-to-day lives, but I think they will continue to form irrational thoughts that will ultimately shape our culture.
Feminism is deeply engrained into every single form of media out there. Many conservatives (who actively dislike feminism) still hold fundamentally feminist beliefs.
When’s the last time you watched a movie or TV show that had a woman in charge, where the woman was:
straight
pretty
had long hair
actually a decent person
?
It’s not so much the actions that change things, but it absolutely changes the discourse.
I understand the point, but I also realize the entertainment industry is full of gay people, from performers to writers. The arts have always drawn them. While I do think the entertainment industry has been on a bully pulpit pushing a gay agenda for a few years, I’m willing to bet things come around with the general unraveling of DEI.
At the end of the day the entertainment industry is a for profit industry, and as associations with the identity of DEI fade so will monetization of DEI engrained ideas.
4b and similar bullshit are the last gasps of the people who went full retard on the whole thing.
I don’t personally see “woke” and “feminism” as the same anyways.
This is probably where we differ.
I dont think feminism started as batshit crazy as woke, but then again, woke didn’t start crazy either.
The first time I heard the term “woke” was a video where a black dude was sharing his experience in areas that - as a white guy - I’d never experience. I thought the term was reasonable and accurate.
Now it means men can have babies and women are superior to men, even though biological men are winning all the women’s sports events.
This. Even Ayn Rand’s so called philosophy was feminine in nature. She believed we should put our self interests first, something that traditionally only children and women had the luxury of doing, whereas the greatest men in history put the interests of their families, tribes, communities, nations and people first.
Gay men are still men. What you have now are trans, non binary and gender queer people who want to revolutionize society and culture. Media is their Ministry of Love and Room 101.
I try to not come off as misogynistic, but it’s probably inevitable that it will get interpreted that way by feminists, but I don’t think men think in terms of superiority with regard to women. We believe we have certain roles and responsibilities. Some responsibilities are shared and others are not. When they see patriarchy, I see the burden of responsibility. A mother takes care of the children, that’s her main priority. The man however, takes care of everyone because he carries the burden of that responsibility. That responsibility extends to his parents, friends and community. Feminists are successfully convincing men and women that men are not needed when it comes to those responsibilities.
I used to watch Modern Family. I always thought Phil was a horrible example for what a man should be. I’m aware it’s a comedy but if you think about it, he was a nice guy but also a buffoon. He wasn’t Lucas McCain or Andy Griffith. But the show was clearly trying to normalize the “manhood” of Phil.
Ever notice how virtually every single male on TV fits this description?
They are either fat, lazy, dumb, or any combination thereof.
Or if they are actually smart, the women are still smarter.
^This last part made me stop watching DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Literally every single woman was smarter or better than every single guy. The female leader was bisexual, and repeatedly cutting her hair shorter.
Who first came up with the term dad bod? I doubt it was a man. But it was a way to normalize looking like shit. My father worked construction and never had anything resembling a dad bod.
I think a lot of older actors have brought up how Hollywood has homofied male characters. And conservative actors have been shut out of getting work at times. The thing is, some of these conservative actors aren’t really that conservative.
