Quick question. What do you guys eat for cheat meals and how much? I just had chili with whole wheat pasta, an apple, box of raisins and some M&M’s and some chocolate chips.
I’m wondering this too. How much of a cheat is everyone having? A stuff yourself till you feel sick, just some more carbs then you usually have, or somewhere in between?
Last night I had a whole (10") California Pizza Kitchen frozen pie plus about half a dish of frozen yogurt. I could have eaten more, but when you’ve been eating clean, a few ounces of ice cream or frozen yogurt is really satisfying.
For the chocolate, I had some 70% cacao from Whole Foods. 4.99 for a 43gm bar though. Very pricey.

My cheats during the fat-loss phase were Thanksgiving Day (a lot starchy of appetizers and 2 servings of pie) and the rest came in the form of alcohol. I figured by following the diet to a T and drinking 1-2x per week would work itself out as far as cheats. Before anyone says anything, I understand drinking does more harm than empty calories…
Hey guys! First off, I’m enjoying the thread you guys are creating.
Given that you were talking about chocolate I wanted to post a link to buy 8 oz. of Organic Raw Chocolate Cacao Nibs

What are you all doing for your chocolate?
I found 85% Dark Cocoa bars at Wal-mart. Has a taste that will need to be acquired, but after a while it taste good. it has 2 and a half servings for just under $2
Was it in the regular candy isle? How much sugar is in a serving?
It is made by “LINDT Exellence” 85% Cocoa 5g sugar per serving 3g fiber 4g protein 8g carbs. The fat however, is about 18g 11 of that being Saturated. So weigh it against the odds. I may have been mistaken about the price, it may have been around $2.06. It is not in the candy isle, it was near the isle closer to the checkout, at least in my Wal-Mart. If any question go to www.lindt.com

Today I started Waterbury’s ‘drop 10 lbs of fat and gain 10 lbs of muscle’ program. I have never followed a proper diet program, so this should be interesting. The training portion of it should not be too difficult, but the nutrition is going to be a challenge for me. I took pictures this morning, and will be updating weekly photos as well as daily progress reports.
TeenCraft, give us an update and let us know what your stats were like when you started and what you did the first 3 weeks?
I just fnished up phase one. Start phase two on monday.
I lost 8 lbs. I do not have calipers so I dont know what my bf is exactly. When I started the scale said 20%, it says 18% now. I think I actually started 10/10 around 18%. I lost around 3 inches around my stomach (belly button) but only lost a little over an inch on my wasite line. I did not loose any or the little LBM I had and I actually gained strenght and looks like I gained size in my arms from the weighted chins and dips.
I do look diffrent, but think I will have to continue with a EDT for fat loss after I finish 10/10. That or extend the next fat loss phase.
I always love Waterburys stuff So I plan on following the rest of this to the T.

I have a question about the HFT routine for phase 2.
Is every day set up the same.
Day One is set up like, 1A rest 60s 1B rest 60s 1A rest 60s etc Than 2A rest 60s 2B rest 60s 2A rest 60s etc
Would day 2 be the same of do I do 1A than 1b with out rest? 1A 1B rest 1A 1B rest etc etc
Hi Guys - same ? as above. Chad only specifically mentions this method of rest for this specific day each week. Other days don’t have this stipulation. I know Chad’s typical programs usually have rest b/t A & B exercises, but I’m not sure if it’s the same this time around. I only bring it up because, as I said, he specifically outlines this rest system on this day each week. Any help is great - starting Phase II tomorrow and want to make sure I get it right.
My cheat last night - Chinese food at the in-laws.
I also get 90% cocoa chocolate at a Slovakian goods & deli store in the market down from my office. $2 and it lasts me for 5 servings on Phase I, will be half that for phase II. More chocolate than I’ve ever eaten (but I’m seeing results so I won’t complain).
Cheers to everyone else contributing to the thread!

The 3 rep and 8 rep days are 60s rest while the 16 rep days are 90s rest. You can’t really correlate Day One to Day Two etc because he switches it around a bit. The cycle does repeat, with an emphasis on the heavy work during the build cycle.
I just finished the first phase of the program. I started at 178 and I weighed 173 today, just like CW claimed. Not sure how much was actually fat loss, but I hope most of it was. We’ll see how the second phase goes.
Just bought the E-Book today and the plan looks pretty good. Planning to start the training next monday and start incorporating some of the diet stuff this week to aid a bit in the first fat loss phase.
As it stands now, 12 weeks will take me to the week prior to leaving for a vacation so hopefully that will be extra motivation through the holiday season.
It sounds like Surge maybe could be used in place of his other pre/post workout options. What does anyone else think about that?

Yea CW said it was okay to use Surge instead of the protein/fruit and I’m ordering the Surge tomorrow.
I am in the middle of week 1 of phase 2, and these have been my results so far:
Day 1, phase 1 (3 weeks long): Weight=201.4 BF=17.6%
Day 1, Phase 2: Weight= 200.4 BF=15.7%
I have to say that I am very pleased with these results, as I am not personally very concerned with the scale weight, but much more with the amount of bodyfat.
I have been using the post-workout nutrition as reccomended, but for pre-workout have only been having a protein shake. Other than that change I am eating as Waterbury reccomends (except for the acai juice and BCAA as they are wicked expensive). I found Lindt 85% dark chocolate at Wal-mart and it wasnt too pricey, and it is nice to have at night.
