Subcutaneous or otherwise, what are people’s attitudes on it? When competing, people try to cut it, thinking it makes them look soft, to become more ripped and whatnot…
But what about during non-competition, for people who want to lift for health and not looks. Is having lots of water weight good for you? Would it make you be able to go longer without dehydration if you were ever without liquids for some time?
Would subcutaneous help you keep healthy skin that doesn’t get dry and flaky, and elsewhere, just help you with better circulation, more blood, and easier flushing out of waste products?
I also read sometimes that drinking water more frequently makes the body emphasize diuresis to the point where it stores less water weight despite the massive intake, which BBers take advantage of when they suddenly cut off the intake before competitions.
Does that mean that you should keep water intake within moderation so your body will keep a reserve of water weight in case you are ever deprived?
