Alright, this is pissing me off. Stop fucking around wasting your time and money on random supplements until you get your diet and training in order.
Supplements don’t replace eating right. Supplements don’t lift the fucking weights for you.
At your age, if you would just stick to a real program, be a little patient, and put in the hard work, the results will be forced to follow.
Once you have shown yourself to have some discipline, you have maintained control of your diet, and you are making progress in leaning out and gaining strength, then, finally, the supplements will be able to assist you in your goals.
Alternately, it sounds like, you could just starve yourself, eat shitty, take supplements, work out in a half assed manner from time to time and wonder why the hell you aren’t going anywhere.
Make a decision and do what it takes to reach your goals…
Oh you defiently dont want to cock an attitude with me Ill cock one right back. Im new to all this and I know the supplements arent going to repalce the work or the meals, I just heard that they help things and I didnt know which ones to take so I thought I would ask. I was just wondering if their were any bars or shakes I could use instead of a meal or snack. I cant know unless I ask. Anyone else Thanks
You need to be able to walk before you can run. And you need to prove that you can stick to your routine and your diet for more than 2 weeks before you should even bother worrying about supplements.
Alright Ill do that. IM trying too look for a better routine though because according to most of the replys Ive gotten on other boards it sucks. Any ideas? Also what could I sub for the tuna and roast beef? Also do I need anything for post workout (like a drink or something)
Afterwards, when you can ask questions that show YOU are putting at least some effort into this, I’m certain you’ll find everyone willing to help.
Also, if you are just bogged down because there is so much information, which is also possible – just pick a program and do it. Honestly, it really doesn’t matter much which one you do, as long as it includes the big compound lifts.
While doing that program for a month or two, you can continue to read your ass off and later, after COMPLETING the program, pick another. When you start out, you just need to know to eat good food and work hard… the rest will come.
Alright. Just so everyone knows Im not doing all this for a quick fix, I plan to make this a “LIFESTYLE” change. Im just asking a bunch of questions because Ive seen so much information in the past few days and its alittle hard to process when its comming in all at once.
But I think for now I will get Whey (for a post workout shake) like others have reccomended and I will stick with the diet Mintaur made for me and Ill workout with weights/cardio 5 days a week and Im sure if I just do that then by Nov (when I will see some family that havent see me since last NOV they wont recognize me) Ill be a new person and I can stay that way. If anyone have any more opinons or advice please share. Thanks
If you’re going to buy a powder…Metabolic Drive or Classic Grow! is cheap and good (but right expensive in the Uk but nevermind…)
Look, just do Chad Waterbury’s Big Boy Basics if you’re so damn confused and those meal plans look like you’re not eating enough. I eat more and I’m like 120 odd pounds…and that was before bulking
