Train all bodyparts, strive to hit PRs pretty much every session, eat a lot (whenever you’re not too full to eat), sleep a lot.
It’s not harder than that. Yes you have abz, congrats brah, but you’d look a lot better with an extra 100 lbs of muscle.
hundred??? Jesus, with or without roids
Look kid, a dozen people have told you this but it doesn’t seem to be getting through. STOP worrying about numbers. Stop worrying about if your measurements are “good” or “average”. Stop worrying about getting people to “rate” you. Stop worrying about the lighting on your picture.
Go lift and get biggger.
Disrespectful? Hardly.
You interpreted it that way because youre already hyper defensive that people aren’t praising you.
I simply asked a rhetorical question. It was meant to make you step back for one measly second and THINK. NUMBERS dont matter. Not everyone with 18" arms looks the same.
Your problem is that you think you know more than you do. Open your eyes and be grateful that people are even replying to your inane questions about ‘ideal measurements’ and ‘hollywood bodies’.
In my opinion, which echoes everyone else’s, you look SKINNY and need to eat more in order to attain your goals. You said you want to be like Zane. Well, he was not a scrawny dude. Which is what you are. You’re going to have to lose some of your “ABZ” in order to gain enough muscle to have an impressive physique. I think you are confusing the comments of people being blunt and direct with rudeness. They may be crass, but everyone is trying to tell you to just get bigger before you start focusing on bringing up and body parts. You need to bring up the level of musculature of your WHOLE body in order to be able to see if any one part is naturally slow to develop. You haven’t developed yet. I hope this makes sense. I am trying to be as honest and helpful as possible. I’d also recommend squatting more.
Why is the movement uncomfortable? You do understand squatting isn’t supposed to be easy, right?

the placement of the bar, just feels uncomfortable, i personally prefer front squats

A. You’re probably placing it too high.
B. Gain a bit more weight and the bar will sit on your traps and not your spine. Which I’m sure is protruding at this point.

Front squats are fine to do as well.

im a fierce zane follower, if he did use, im gonna kill myself…who else am i gonna look up to?
You could always take a look into Vince Gironda. He has the same sense on aesthetics that frank zane had as far as lines and symmetry. He 100% for sure did not use steriods and actually would kick known users out of his gym. He did advocate the use of a lot of supplements though

yea i have been looking into that, i habe been doing gironda dips and sternum chins for two months now, am also working my way up to his 8x8
The sternum chins have helped a lot, its widened my lats and given me a distinctive v taper, gironda’s style is what i was using during xmas and put on five pounds

LOL Well, if you like arguing then expect to piss some people off, Dex. It’s good that you listen, and hopefully will implement the advice given to you by the bigger dudes. Cheers.
BTW, I’m a front squat person myself, but I would recommend that you give Back Squats the time of day. You know what they say (Can’t remember who said it, otherwise I’d directly quote him. If someone knows please tell me): “The exercise that makes you hate life the most is probably the one that will give you better results”. Learn to love doing ALL exercises, they all have a time and places. ESPECIALLY the Squat and all its flavors.
If you can do actual full sternum chin ups the way they are outlined by Vince that is impressive. Really impressive with your time spent training…
Read the beginners stickies. Pick a program. Report back in 6 months.
Worry about numbers in a few years when you actually pack on a few slabs of muscle. In reality you’re still pretty small and if you want honest answers that’s what you’re going to hear. And don’t feel like everyone needs to give you a pat on your back just because your friends and family do.
My family was having a barbecue at my house and me and my cousins were all swimming. My 6 year old cousin looks at me and tells me that his brother is stronger than me. I just laughed because I know he said this because I’m not all cut up like his brother is, but I am about twice his size. He is just one of those typical no body fat skinny kids who has abs and definition because they don’t put on weight.
I tell you that story because even though my cousin is only 6 there are tons of people out there that don’t know any better and assume anyone with definition and a set of abs is automatically big and strong. I’m not saying this to insult you but instead to humble you. Don’t talk about the MONTHS you’ve put in working out, instead think about the YEARS you’ll need to train to gain success.
