Libertarians are similar to liberals in many areas, but I personally do not believe in income tax and I don’t believe in big government.
That rules out a lot of capital L liberalism that some around here like to dump in the direction of anyone who isn’t conservative.

To be serious for a moment, I actually find it much more challenging (and entertaining) to debate with vrooms style of intellectual liberalism than deal with one particular members style.
There is another liberal on this board who can never say to anyone else “good point.” He is a “blowhard” and an egotist. He is insulting (far to many personal attacks) and discouraging to many new members (on muscle threads) and, he is not worth talking to!
