I will make consultation with my doctor towards mid february, but wanted to hear your opinion cause I got the impression you got similar sleeping issues
I do but they are much better. Have you tried including tryptophan with the melatonin and magnesium glycinate? That combo puts me out on my worst nights.
My issues which are seldom these days are waking up having to piss throughout the night and waking up earlier than expected with a surge of nasty energy. Not like waking up ready to go but waking up tired but jolted. Like how you would imagine a spike of adrenaline to feel. It’s a very weird feeling that I can’t quite put to paper enough to feel like I’m able to explain it to someone.
What I experience is very similar, but often
@dextermorgan another thing. 2-3 weeks before TRT I bumped my b12 methylcobalamine from 1000mcg to 3000mcg. I will stop it for a few days and continue on 1000mcg. Hope this helps my sleep…
That’s definitely a shit load.
I also suspect the magnesium I will stop it. My brother reported similar issue he started the same magnesium and he is not on TRT
Change one thing at a time
Scheduled new consultation with the doc, will do that 27.02
Unfortunately I cannot afford to do too many of them, these types of docs charge expensive especially for the standard of my country. We will discuss everything, thyroid, adrenals, sleep, whether to change to enanthate, etc. I wish we had at least one real TRT doctor in my country…
I run the blood work today so Reverse T3 can be ready(it takes 2-3 weeks to process that test here because they send it in another country). Most other tests will be ready these days. Hope the blood picture parameters have not risen significantly.
@dextermorgan @johann77 I discovered stopping magnesium before bed improved my sleeping issues a lot. Isnt that strange? I will try to introduce smaller dosage of magnesium late afternoon. I know I NEED to take some magnesium especially on TRT . Also I tried melatonin, 1mg and even 5mg. First melatonin does not affect me at all like pre TRT. It makes me a bit groggy but very little, however sleep with it is WORSE, I mean I wake up more frequently. Im almost certain these wakeups are either from testosterone peak due to the esters, cortisol peaks or BOTH
You have to figure what works for you through trial and error. If you give something enough time to work and it doesn’t then you know it’s not for you. As far as magnesium you can try it at other times and see if it effects you differently.
For sleep I downloaded this app called White Noise by TMSOFT and use the “extreme rain” sound connected through my bose speakers and it really helps. I also found the most amazing sleep mask for $10 that is better than the $100 ones I’ve used.
I’ve tried all kinds of relaxing music, but any kind of sound destroys my sleep. I sleep with ear plugs.
Even if I sleep with a girl and she moves a bit I wake up like a commando under a bombing raid, only I do not have a gun under my pillow to pull it out ![]()
All this shit happened since I worked for 3 years on merchant ships from 2011-2014. My sleep was destroyed there and I think my hormones got messed up that time, possible due to over stress and exposure to toxic chemicals. The doctor I consulted without knowing I’ve worked on oil tankers asked me based on my blood work “Have you been exposed to toxic chemicals?”
Blood work came out. Lipids are more less the same, HCT have risen only 1 point so far(0.46), HMB is 158, total test IS SKY ROCKET - 1450 and E2 is 80
But I think this is because I put HCG daily around 19.000 100 UI including last night, I have not increased test dosage. Im doing it daily for two weeks and feels much better, I feel zero sides from HCG now.
Some people would say my sleeping issues can come from the high e2 but I think this is bulshit, right?
Libido is awesome these days
Those are some good results. I’m glad you have no side effects from HCG. On the other side I’m still not convinced whether to start it right now or later.
The only way I was able to make HCG work was on an ED or EOD schedule. Surprised it isn’t mentioned more considering the push to daily T shots. If you’re going to be doing daily inject anyway, why not ![]()
Looks like Im over responder on HCG daily shots. My test wouldnt be more than a 1000 without it Im sure.
My only issue is to fix my sleep. I hope to be able to do it without reducing dosages.
Should I ask If my e2 is too high … just fukin around ![]()
I stopped HCG and now Im feeling great. Not sure if I will ever do it again. Balls are shrinking, but my dick is getting bigger, and I already have an above average pecker. Orgasms are beginning to feel amazing again, and ejaculate is returning to normal. Honestly, I think the HCG is fucking you up, you just dont think it is. Oh and my sleep is great other than waking up to piss once or twice at night. Energy is also becoming more what I want it to be. Finally hit the gym twice in a row, and the need to get my abs going is there. Im not against HCG, but it was affecting sleep, energy, and I simply couldnt get myself to the gym.
I have zero evidence HCG is affecting my sleep, the issues were before it. It only improved everything and I wouldnt stop it. I feel much better on it than without and seems daily HCG dosages do wonders on my libido and mood.
Yes this is also interesting to me. Everyone says inject test daily but 2 HCG 2 times a week. Well this didnt work for me as well. Even EOD HCG was not good compared to daily. On EOD I was feeling different the different days
You’re going to have a heart attack with e2 that high

I was told the same by a local bodybuilder who likes to crash his e2 ![]()

@dextermorgan @ncsugrad2002 @systemlord @johann77 @dbossa @highpull what do you think? Something worrying in the blood work? IGF-1 worries me a bit. Before TRT was just a bit elevated than the upper margin, now is more elevated
I feel awesome except sleep is not very good yet, but it improved since I stopped the magnesium night time. Will try to experiment taking it noon time.
