Just one extra thing for a company to fuck up and make it work less.
This is what I take. Break the 1mg tablet in half so it’s .50mg. That’s the ideal dose of melatonin shown in studies that body will not build a tolerance to, is just as effective and causes no next day effects.
Some guys said they had similar problem when they injected testosterone morning time and it was fixed when they switched to evening. Maybe on their morning schedule the cypionate peaked night time.
But you know with the sustanon it is much harder. What do you think about that?
Until your body is fully used to injecting hormones (we’re talking 6 months) things may not be perfect. Most of the issues people complain about go away on their own in time. I don’t think injection time is going to fix that but you can always try it and report back.
My method of fixing sleep issues is unorthodox but you could always try it if you are up for it. I smoke half a joint before bed for a couple of days if I’m having sleeping issues and it usually reverts to normal after that.
Again I know it’s not everybody’s choice and many hate the thought of it but it works for me and I don’t seem to have any negative effect from it.
I started doing it a couple of years back when I had sleeping issues and discovered I had low testosterone as well. I said fuck it my testosterone is already low so it won’t drive it any lower. To my surprise my testosterone increased after a couple of months smoking randomly like I described. It didn’t stay high for long though so eventually I’m here on TRT just like everybody else.
The problem is Marijuana will effect deep sleep cycles so while it may help you get to sleep faster your overall sleep suffers. It’s probably not a huge deal if it’s occasional but daily smoking (Marijuana effects you for 24+ hrs) is not ideal long term for sleeping. For the record I’ve done some serious shit so I’m not preaching.
I’ve read the studies about marijuana and deep sleep and i do believe them. However it does lower cortisol a bit and it might help people whose cortisol raises early in the morning.
I’ll be honest though and I don’t only use it for sleeping. For me it’s a method to relieve some of the daily stress some times. I have a busy day with work, gym and two baby twins at home so it does relax me a good bit. I don’t advocate daily usage however.
It’s time to get a vape soon so I don’t have to smoke it but it’s hard to get them where I live. Maybe I’ll ask my boys over in the US to send me one. I don’t have many vices, I only drink 2-3 drinks a week and 2-3 cigarettes maximum a day. I barely consume sugar so smoking half a joint once in a while makes shit interesting lol.
Stay away from vaping. Stick to good old weed. Vaping is a great way to fill your lungs with oil. Get a bong, and smoke a bowl. Other than that, weed gives me a boost, cant sleep after that.
I do miss the good ole’ bong. Haven’t smoked out of one since 2007.
I used to get a boost out of weed too but in the last couple of years it gets me sleepy. Then I found out that we mostly have indica on my side of the world and I used to smoke sativa back then when I was living in the US.
Guys I will not gonna try marijuana to fix my sleep definetely It makes me feel like crap and I can consume 4000 calories for the next hour after smoking it
I will try @dextermorgan s solution for melatonin. But I tend to think when my body builds tolerance to it it will no longer help my sleep. At least with magnesium was like that
Also last night I woke up 2-3 times but managed to fall asleep quickly after. What I noticed especially the first time when I woke up I felt very hot
I will in the next weeks do detailed blood work but will add saliva cortisol 4 times in the day and one more sample when I wake up night time
Then maybe at the end of next month I will consult my US doctor again, to see what needs to be adjusted in my therapy regimen. He will not be happy I havent started dhea and pregnenolone yet
One day in the distant future you’re going to realize that most of your issues come from your prejudice towards everything you take before you take it and wonder why you have issues with everything. There’s a mental aspect to everything and when you go into something with the expectation of failure regardless of how much you want it to work there is a good chance it won’t and even if it does you’ll convince yourself otherwise. When that time comes I want you to remember this post and think “that guy on that thing told me back then and he was right”. Until then carry on my friend.
Dont know man Im very skeptical on how the so called placebo affects me. When I start a new substance I have no particular expectation how it will affect me because for each one is different and unpredictable
I think this sleeping issue has its biological or pharmacological reason.
Trust me right now my stress has been on the lowest I ever remember and my level of happiness with life at the highest. There is zero reason some psychological issue to affect my sleep
Dude, you say you don’t have particular notions on how you will respond to meds, but two posts prior you said…
“ I will try @dextermorgan s solution for melatonin. But I tend to think when my body builds tolerance to it it will no longer help my sleep.”
That is exactly why @dextermorgan advice was spot on. Doesn’t matter to any of us what you decide, but some very experienced members are trying to help you and eliminate the “pitfalls” that are coming at you.
In introduced DHEA, 10mg lipid matrix. I follow my doctors recommendation. He has recommended me to start it much earlier. So far I notice a boost in erection quality.
I discovered my issue with sleep is was relieved when I doubled my ashwagandha dose. 2 nights I slept well then. But yesterday evening I was out, forget to take any. I took melatonin Natrol 0.5mg before sleep, but again I woke up 6 o clock and game over. This melatonin by the way does not affect me as much or maybe the dose is low, I will raise after a few days to 1mg
I tried to find your brand of ashwagandha from european site like amazon.co.uk but it is not present in any I checked. Unfortunately ordering thing from USA is pain in the ass now in my country, they changed the customs procedures and things became horrible.
So if ashwagandha improves the issue do you think it is related to cortisol? What else I can do, because we both know when my body gets used to this new dose of ashwagandha it will stop working
I really don’t know. I would be hesitant to make any conclusions about whether something is working until after weeks of repeated good results. I also think a lot of what we think we know about cortisol isn’t completely true. I think in the end you’ll have to trial and error several things until you figure out what works and hopefully when you figure it out you won’t have to worry about it anymore.
I read that melatonin at doses of around .30mg your body should not form a tolerance. Who knows though
