Vonko1988 TRT Log

You could save even more holes by injecting less frequently if that’s your main concern. Eventually you’re likely to get sick of sub-q at some point and try IM.

Well not in the name of optimization.
No I do not plan to reduce frequency the only thing I can do at one point is switch the HCG to daily as well. I want stability of levels and no swings. Just instead of doing 2 injections per day if possible I wanna do one.
IM also I see no any reason to try

I’m pretty sure doing HCG daily is not ideal for optimal use.

I read all studies according its usage i men. It peaks very quickly and the more you inject at once the more fluctuations and estrogen you get. It seems it aromatizes veery quickly and this seems to be the reason hcg mono does not work in most men.

To me it make even more sense than testosterone to inject daily. Also the guys doing daily test seem to inject daily 100 ui hcg

Do a little more reading. It’s posted many times on this forum why not to inject HCG daily. @hardartery

I think I read everything on the matter here, in excel male(there they have much more info on the matter), on reddit and also reports from at least dozen guys using small doses of HCG daily claiming they are fine.
HCG has a half life of 12-36 hours and I cannot understand why it should NOT be injected daily? There are studies with curves of 150 UI and 500 UI injected 2 times weekly and there are peaks and troughs I dont like. I wanna minimize peaks and troughs at all costs from everything I use

I found very little variance on my trough T, E2, Free T numbers doing daily vs EOD T/HCG. I didn’t feel any different on either. Pick a protocol and stay with it. Don’t change it for 8 weeks, get labs, evaluate how you feel, adjust or not accordingly.

Im not changing protocol now, I just one save myself the additional HCG injection and put it together with test

Your body has a refractory period for HCG. If you inject daily your leydig cells do not respond to the recurring injections. Here is a study that states such. It is done on rats so not a human study but something to think about.

If that’s the study I think it is, that’s an equivalent of 10,000 IU’s for humans, which is obviously way way beyond what he’s taking daily. With doses that high there is a refractory period but I’ve never seen anything proving one for low’ish doses. Does the body have a refractory period when it’s releasing LH naturally? I wouldn’t think so but perhaps I’m wrong.

I would be striving for fewer injections too, but at least things are being left “stable” and more protocols changes aren’t being implemented at this time. We’ve all been saying to leave things as is for 8 weeks for a while now so maybe it will now happen.

On another note, you can say you’re sensitive to changes all you want, but you don’t really know until you’ve tried it for long enough to really know. I’m super sensitive to most drugs, I take like 1/4 the normal dose for Sudafed or Benadryl for example but don’t have any swings even going 3 days between injections. It just isn’t that big of a deal.

Having said that I still wouldn’t change anything you’re doing right now. If you ever get tired of stabbing yourself so much, I think you’ll be fine with EOD instead of every day but for now you might as well keep steady and see if you get the improvements you’re hoping for.

Protocol change is not on the table now, I wanna merge the two injections I was doing one after another up to now

draw HCG first and they will stay separated.

Just out of curiosity. When is the last time you checked 4 point cortisol saliva? What were the results?

I havent since I started TRT and most probably I will not do it soon.
The doctor I consulted said mine is relatively OK and that this test has many flaws and should not be relied on too much. He also told me not to fixate on adrenal issues for now since they are not a big of a concern in my case according to him.

I may do the test again after a month or so but it is expensive and I have more priority tests to invest in firts

Hey man! So I started 2 weeks after you, and I went e other way. At week 7 I stopped the HCG and AI. Decided to take a trip. Drive around the PNW from Baja to Washington. Left my HCG and AI back home. Preloaded a few syringes of pure Test. Going with EOD. I wanna see what it feels like to take TestC by itself. Things get weird at first. Im there with you. Now Im going to drive. Oh, and your bro is not a good source of validation. Go get your dick sucked!

Dick is sucked from time to time but this doesnt fix problems unfortunately

I’ve craved sugar my whole life. Not sure if it’s worse on TRT but it’s definitely not better. I try to eat blueberries and shit like that as a better evil. When I do keto and cut out all carbs the cravings are less. Sugar is like cigarettes in that it’s hard to just have one every now and again. You get a lot less cravings when you don’t ever smoke.

For the night time adrenal issues I found 2000mg vit C to help with that quite a bit. Ashwagandha helps as well but in a somewhat different way. I find ashwagandha is best for me when it’s cycled as it seems to lose effectiveness after a while so I’ll do a couple months on and a couple off. The vit C seems to work constantly. I don’t know if my issues are actually adrenal related but they sure seem like surges of adrenaline randomly at night. Sometimes if you over tax your CNS you can have similar issues so if you’re going too hard at the gym try toning it back.

Helps me with sleep:
Melatonin
Magnesium glycinate
Tryptophan (only take when really having issues)

Thanks for feedback.
For a month Ive been taking vitamin c 1000mg Now Foods sustained release. I considered taking 2000 but thought it can be stimulatory.
What time do you take the vitamin c?

I also take the Now Foods Ahwagandha since spring, 450 mg daily but maybe I need to stop it for some time as well.

Ive tried melatonin and it makes me very groggy the next day, but I may try again now since for the last three nights sleep is really shitty.

I also consider starting some pregnenolone like my doc has suggested me to do. Ive tested it acts sedating on me. What do you think about that?

Ashwagandha is one of those supplements where most are snake oil. Until I tried nootropics depot ksm-66 (which is the real shit) I didn’t realize how ineffective the other 10 brands I had tried were.

I take 2000mg vit C during the day. I wouldn’t take sustained release.

Buy .40mg melatonin from Amazon and you won’t have that problem.

Don’t know about pregnenolone personally but everyone on TOT Revolution podcast that tried it stopped taking it so I never tried it. Don’t remember what issues they were having with it though.

Can you give some link from a quality product if I do not bother you from the British amazon?

Also what is the issue with vit c sustained release?
