Our TRT generation will be the long term study
You are making a couple of wrong statements in your video, might be because you want to keep it simple or because of a lack of understanding.
Your statement that 90% are observational studies is not correct. For example Alexander et al, 2016 identified for their meta analysis about TRT and CV risks 39 randomized clinical trials (interventional) and 10 observational studies.
Secondly, its important to understand that while retrospective studies do have their pitfalls, they are not useless - not at all. Their major strenght is the study size; in the TRT space those studies included up to 300.000 study subjects within a study. Thats a huge number which is never ever accessible to a prospective interventional trial. Furthermore, while cofounding factors through selection bias is a significant problem the impact of which can be reduced by either one of two methods, matching or stratification. Information of study limitations and strenghts are almost always provided in the publication but one needs to 1) have access to these reports and 2) read and understand them.
Just in case you want to expand on your study design skills I recommend reading the following articles. It would definitly help the quality of your videos.
Just to be clear, the video was meant to be an extremely simple, basic English explanation. Just enough information for people to learn to use some form of critical thinking before deciding whether or not they believe the study has merit. Nothing more. I do appreciate the links you provided. Thank you.
Today and yesterday I feel good, a bit too much horny
Hope I learn to control that because I dont wanna be thinking about where to stick my dick all the time ![]()
Today when I pulled out the needle of my belly I was very asleep and pinned slightly my finger. This shouldnt be an issue, right?
Hopefully youāve watched The Walking Dead in which case you already know that if you cut the limb off in time thereās a good chance you wonāt become a zombie. If you havenāt cut it off by now let your girlfriend know only a head shot kills a zombie.
Brother you really need to stay away from Bourbon Street on Saturday nights!!! Lmao
Sorry buddy had to rib you there! Not sure if youāre still down in the big easy, but I was born and raised in south LA so I know the city pretty well!
I also know that the Pat OāBrienās will bring the pain if youāre not careful!! Them hurricanes will sneak up on you quick!!! Lmao
I suggested there is no problem but I had to ask even with the risk of zombie apocalypseā¦
My blood pressure continues to be a bit low, not sure if this is a good sign.
Iāve been measuring it 2 months before starting TRT, low end is 60-72, high end is like 100-115.
Now for example evening time I measured it 66-102, pulse 78. I use automatic cuff and I was told they can be very inaccurate eve though mine is high class. I bought also mechanical but have not yet understood how to use that thing ![]()
@bmbrady77
Lol! I have no recollection of posting that and oddly enough I was at Pat Oās at some point last night. Thankfully no hurricanes or Iād be in the ICU today.
How South you talking? My family came to America and settled at Grand Isle, LA as pirates and helped fight the British in 1812. Gotta love Louisiana and how nuts it is.
Mine was 111/67 this morning. Nothing to worry about. The first 6 months of TRT it was 140/85
Seems better low than high, although Iāve heard when one has low blood pressure with time the body begins to pressurize some blood vessels to compensate and later in life it becomes high blood pressure. I think mine is due to adrenal issues
Itās considered normal as far as Iāve read. Low is like below 90/60 consistently
I think you need to find another 100 things to measure during your first weeks of TRT. Just enough to sufficiently drive yourself insane.
Orā¦set a date in the calendar 8 weeks from now to remind yourself to assess how youāve been feeling to determine whether or not your protocol is working. In the meantime, you would be living your life like the rest of us do. Like youāre supposed to.
Lmao!!
Iām from Livingston Parish. Halfway between redneck and Cajun, so I got crazy from both ends! Lol
~1 Hr from NO and 30 min from BR, and spent just about every day in either one or the other working. I didnāt have a chance brother!!
One of the reasons I got the hell out of there and moved to Montanaā¦it was as far away as I could get without a passportā¦
This. All of this.
I would absolutely love to live in Montana. Being 75% off the grid would be amazing. I envy you!
I love Montana man and I wonāt ever leave here willingly.
But the whole Wild West fantasyā¦lmao
I wonāt spoil the surprise for you!
How have you felt with the cytomel???
Dude donāt waste your time. i had S Howell make a write up for me just to respond to one of his comments and he still didnāt believe the word of an expert who spent many years reading and understanding studies and anabolics.
it amazes me that there is insignificant proof yet we should be afraid.
About the same. I maybe have a bit more energy and donāt get cold as easy.
