Afraid from what I gotta lost the point here

Do you take all 25 at once or spread it throughout the day? I haven’t started yet but just ordered a bunch of 25 mcg pills. Debating ordering a pill splitter.

I spread mine through the day. My doctor told me to take 10mcg in the am and then 10mcg Pm

Is that how you do it – 10 and 10 – or do you take a different approach? When do you dose it?

you wont find a pill splitter that cuts it in 3. only in 2.

With my pill splitter I cut in 8. When you cut in half, you can cut that half in half again…

Today literally destroyed in the gym. Ive never felt so strong. If anyone think this is a placebo I dont care. However I expect things to improve more in the coming weeks.

However there is one problem. My appetite increased a lot and it is very hard now to control myself around food, especially sweets. Ive always had tendency to binge and now it is a lot. The last two weeks I gained 2kg. Wonder is it fat or water weight? Maybe both…

Increased metformin from 1500 to 2000mg. Need to take this under control, otherwise I become a fat swab again

I wound’t worry as much as before to be honest. You are working out and your T is getting optimised so hopefully whatever weight gain you are experiencing could be muscle mass and water retention. Who knows maybe instead of becoming a fat swab you end up being a big scary dude .

Haha this is the idea but I need to be careful with my apettite. Dude, Im the man that if needed can eat all day long and ask for more. I really cannot understand these people that cannot eat…
My brother is the same, in fact he is worse. Maybe it’s genetics. I cannot explain it only by insulin sensitivity. There is more

I can go without eating but I feel tired. I eat when hungry. If I eat regularly like am , then I get hungry throughout the day. If j don’t eat in the morning I can easily go without food until 4-5pm.

I eat when I lift though. Before and after.

Just eat healthy and eat slow. You can get fat if you eat too much nonsense so be careful.

Around age 32 I was healthy and a friend gave me a vial of cypionate. I took one shot and 2 days later i felt amazing. I woke up for a few days at 5 am refreshed and I had this euphoria buzz that I loved. I immediately stopped knowing I would want more and didn’t want to do pct and shit.

I think folks feel T working fast . Like libido. Especially if Natural T levels weren’t as low As mine when I started trt at 3.5…

I am the same way. If I eat breakfast regularly, then I get hungry around breakfast time. If I don’t, then I don’t get hungry. Your body adapts to your behavior.

I’ve gotten in a sustainable routine of eating breakfast around 10:30 a.m. It’s not IF, but also saves plenty of calories for later on in the day, and allows me to eat a hearty dinner with the wifey without worrying about calorie budgeting.

In fact, I try to schedule my most mentally intense work for around 9-10:30, as that – right before I eat – is when I’m sharpest. I had a huge meeting at that time today and absolutely crushed it. It’s not like I’m in ketosis (as I ate probably 14 hours before), but the lack of food just keeps me more mentally dialed in. Food always seems to make things kind of fuzzy.

Probably not a huge deal, but I would discourage you from continually scaling up the metformin. I would cap it right there and not go up any higher. I’d say listen to your body (which might want to put on muscle; gains!), eat a little more, and take the risk of putting on a little bit of fat. You could also add a little more cardio if the fat is a big concern; I know @bmbrady77 would like that suggestion.

The jury is still out on what metformin is doing to healthy individuals. I don’t think it’s a huge risk by any means, but 2000 is quite a dose.

I would like that suggestion VERY MUCH, provided that the increased intake is clean Whole Foods with a good balance of nutrients and macros, and NOT excess sweet consumption as @vonko1988 stated that he was more prone to.

If he does that, he’s just gonna get tired and fat.

For sure. And obviously it’s waaaay easier to overeat on sweets than whole foods. That would actually be a good (and probably painful) experiment for you, Vonko – give up sweets entirely, eat only meats and veggies, and see if your body is still desperate for more food. You might be satiated with way fewer calories than you’d expect.

This is exactly how I feel too. If a meal happens to have higher glycemic carbs, then I feel worse… Like metal scrambled eggs and tired.

All at once, but mine are sr (slow release).

I wouldn’t be staring at the scale too much without at least knowing body fat % too. I gained 20lbs but I’m sure at least a chunk of that was muscle (I was under 150lbs at 6’ tall). I look stronger now than I ever did before. That isn’t saying a lot, but still.

My point is you’ll gain muscle so don’t freak about your weight going up a few lbs. or kg. Whatever unit you want to use

Unfortunately yes I eat mostly whole foods and I have entirely given up the sweets for a few months but I started a bit the last month. And now since I started testosterone I crave a lot unhealthy food and sweets. I need to restrain that with a great willpower. Hope this balances out at some moment.
As for the metformin this is the maximum dosage I can take because I use XR. You cannot use more than 2000 from it because it builds up

Do you feel any peaks and valleys throughout the day? Defy doesn’t offer SR (through either Empower or Hallandale), as best I can tell. Through looking around forums and different sites, it seems almost everyone doses multiple times per day.

Yeah for T3 only I think you’ll need to split it 2-3x a day, the body uses T3 pretty quick… thus the reason docs ā€œtryā€ to prescribe T4 only if they can (for better or worse in a lot of cases…)

Did you consider trying something like Armour where there’s some T3 and T4 or just prefer trying T3 only for now to see how it works?
