It was 14f or -10c outside this morning and my garage isnt much warmer…definitely felt cold and my body was just aching. I tend to undereat now when I neglect my diet so I just haven’t been very well fed.

These felt okay, a bit aggravating on the elbow but we’ll see how it feels in days to come.
Generally I start my day with oatmeal and about 5 whole eggs, a greens shake and a greek yogurt (if i remember to buy them), mid-day is steak and rice and dinner is usually the same unless I eat at my moms which is generally something of the sort. I also have protein shakes in between meals if I feel sore. I only get in about 180-250g of protein per day depending on training day vs off day. Sometimes I sub rice out with sweet potato. Vegetables usually only at dinner.

Might be the unusual cold weather and low body weight/lack of calories coming into play. Strength is fine but I do expect an increase sometime soon. I wanna get a set of 8 paused and beltless with 365 on an amrap set.
Ha, I got a lot more to prove on front squats before I’m decent at them. Still working on it.
1/6/18 - Bw 222 i think my low back has had it with beltless training. Feeling very beat up atm. Effecting me outside of training. Light day. Have not pulled heavy in a very long time.

Beltless pause front squats for days. I think you’ll like the stupid shit I plan on doing this Summer. Giving Bulgarian-ish squatting (twice a day front squatz, so I don’t kill myself out of boredom one will split it between pause and normal front squats) a try.
1/12/18 - Bw 221, used mesomorph today, not enjoying. Surely too potent to be used by anyone doing anything more than bicep curls. My opinion thus far anyway.

1/14/18 - Bw 224 a bit carb loaded this morning. First day prepping with some light volume work. Been a long time since I’ve trained axle or barbell push jerks. Feels okay, just a bit weak for now.

These were burners. I feel like cleaning every rep is almost easier, just because of the rest my upper body gets from not having so much TuT. Also, the contest weight is 250/114kg which is pretty easy to clean even after fatigue. Gonna be a rep fest for me.
I saw that @Alpha mentioned this contest in one of his latest videos. Obviously the pressing event suits you well. What do you think about the other events? The car deadlift seems to not have an announced weight yet but the rest shouldn’t be too bad for you?
Have you checked out that Haurison Morris (I am sure I butchered the fuck out of his name) interview? Apparently he does a lot of weird strongman shit (and variations that aren’t really used). Like a 200kg overhead yoke walk.
I’m good at everything in that contest I’d say. One thing though, is I don’t have a deadlift suit…so I’m at a disadvantage for the car deadlift I’d imagine, but we’ll see.
