Velocity Diet Plateau?

Well, I’ve been doing the Velocity diet for three weeks and everything was going well.

Well, this past week I’ve actually went up in weight. Any way to break through this plateau?

Thanks.

Did you slip up and throw in some carbs or something? How much weight are we talking here? How much weight are you down from your starting point? Lets give out a little more information so we can help you out.

I’m down 14 lbs from my start. I was 236 and got down to 221, now I’m back up to 223 from a week ago. My current hight is 6’4".

As for carbs; the only carbs I consume are what the diet required. One tablespoon of Vitamin Shoppe Flax Meal and the carbs in the protein mix. I’m using my own whey blend of ON 100% Casein protein with Isopure Zero Carb protein for pre/post workout. I’m not using any recovery dextrose/etc but BCAA Xtend powder.

Now, one thing I can possibly think of is, I stopped lifting before I started the diet. Just started again a couple days ago.

Thanks for the quick reply by the way.

Hell 2 lbs is nothing. Could be water weight, or just food in the digestive track that you have digested or passed yet. Maybe up the fiber intake a little to get things moving, or add additional fluids throughout the day.

Hell, even if you gained 2 pounds of fat back,m your still down 14 pounds… Nothing to complain about.

Why did you stop lifting?? Lifting is fundamental to the success of any FAT loss program… Otherwise you could lose your muscle.
