Varicocele and TRT

Thank you, this andrologist im going soon as well as you guys are my last hope. I have given up completely at this point cause its been 2 years im trying to fix myself. I dont even recognize myself in the mirror anymore, i look like a weak sack of shit. Plus i gotta go back to Prague in czech republic for another year of college soon, i dont know if ill be able to make it through this time as my studies get harder and harder.

I dont think it will, plus id rather not take cialis due to the side effects that i am most definitely aware of. Plus i’d rather fully heal myself.

I went from being able to shag all day long with zero issues, to only being able to shag once or twice a week, and thats IF i get a boner. and IF im in the mood I do get them, but they are too weak and they go away easily.

I have updated the prolactin reference range, as you can see its a little bit above the high end. They have discovered a pituitary adenoma in my brain but refused to describe me with dostinex as they have tested me with macroprolactin as well and it came back normal. They told me its nothing to worry about as most patients that have prolactinomas have them in the 100+ range.

Wish I could see your free test level. Your shbg is elevated. E2 would be a very useful number to have. You definitely need a better doctor. I too went through three doctors. I dont listen to the doctor I have right now. I just get my prescription for test from her. I get my cialis online from a online pharmacy that sources the cialis from India. 50 bucks for a 30 day supply. My insurance only allows me 7 pills a month at 10 dollars a pill. What a waste. I like the Indian stuff better anyways.

I have the hormonal panel i did before my latest one. Did this on the 2nd of July last month.

Free T4: 20.05 pmol/l Ref; 12-22
TSH 6.500 μIU/ml 0.27-4.20
Cortisol 21.60 μg/dl Ref (AM): 6.2-19.4
FSH 9.65 mIU/ML Ref: 1.5-12.4
LH 9.79 mIU/ML 1.7-8.6
TESTOSTERONE: 5.69 ng/ml Ref: 2.7-10.4
ESTRADIOL 26.41 pg/ml Ref: 27.1 - 52.2 (Is my e2 too low???)
Prolactin: 39.18 ng/ml Ref: 4.04-15.2
Free testosterone: 17.50 pg/ml Ref: 4.2-30.4
IGF-1: 279.0 mg/ml Ref: 98.7 - 289
Anti t-TG IgA: 1.6 IU/ml Negative is under <10.00
IgA 228 mg/dl Ref: 70-400
Vitamin D 25.76 ng/ml Ref: 30-100 (Yes i know its low, even tho i take supplements for it)
SHBG: 29 nmol/l Ref: 17-71

These panels might be a bit more helpful . The doc i showed them too seemed incapable of being able to read them i think/.

I’m also rereadin tests i did on the 21st of JUNE and my estradiol (e2) is at 73.4 pmol/L and the reference is at 49.6-218.0

I have no fucking idea why they found such low e2 on the 2nd of July yet on 21st of june it was “normal”. Maybe its a fault of the Laboratory. Note, that the labs have been taken at two different laboratories.
Also i think these are wrong E2 tests. they should have been doing the proper one for males, not the one for females.

It probably is not the e2 sensitive testing. It’s my understanding that other e2 test cannot differentiate between Crp and e2 so they lump them together providing a higher e2 level than you actually have. Crp or C Reactive Protiens are associated with inflammation. Just fyi. I would be concerned with your e2 as well as your prolactin. Your test levels seem ok. This is a tough one.

You can take daily Cialis. You can stop it anytime. It’s ok to take while figuring this out. Alot get from India. It’s called ceebis from Cooper pharma. Big company. Take 5 mg a day. Or try half of that.

Elevated prolactin can cause sexual dysfunction.

Not to mention his crazy tsh numbers…

Interesting that you mention the TSH numbers, as you can see on the most recent bloodwork i posted before that the levels were normal. I dont understand why lab tests are so inconsistent. Are these people so fucking useless they cant run proper tests?

I am aware of elevated prolactin causing sexual dysfunction, yet the endos refuse to write dostinex to test it out on me

Also i keep noticing that my LH and FSH are always a bit on the higher side. Any suggestions? I think this is clear indication of primary hypogonadism, but the doctors are at loss here since i also have a tiny pituitary adenoma. At this point i feel like i got testicuiar, hypothalamic and thyroid problems all lumped together because of my HPTA axis getting effed up.

Hopefully the andrologist on thursday helps me out.

I agree your hpta is messed up.

You can have a mix of primary and secondary. Primary you probably need trt for sure.
No tumors in testes right?

I hope he helps to. Keep us posted.

I heard that its possible to have both at the same time as well. The endos i have been to were specialized in diabetes issues so i guess thats why they were unable to help. Unfortunately there arent a lot of andrologists here.

Do my numbers really look messed up by the way? And what makes you say that based on your experience?

My previous endo literally told me in my face that my numbers dont coorelate with the issues that im having. Implying that im fine and that i have psychological issues which is not the case, ive fought this for 2 years day in and day out so im aware of how my body functions. Where i used to be and where i am now. Its not possible that my numbers are “fine” and i have penile dryness shrinkage and a shrivveled left testicle unless someone really hates me and put a bunch of curses on me lmao.

Some of your numbers look messed up for sure. Prolactin. TSH. SHBG. Your doc is probably right about having psychological issues but if your hormones are out of whack of course you do. I know I was having severe psychological issues when my hormones were messed up. I had severe paranoia. My mind wasn’t right at all. I dont know if that’s you or not but you do have the excuse. If you do have psychological issues because of your hormonal imbalance you need to come to grips with that fact and keep working towards a solution.

Im dealing with it just fine, ofcourse i get the occasional depressive mood every now and then due to my condition, but im trying to deal with it.

Are prolactin TSH and SHBG the ones i should be looking out for? What do you think made them go out of whack? Any suggestions are welcomed, just having an open discussion here.

The doctors ruled out prolactinoma and growth hormone pituitary secreting tumor. And they dont think its TSH one either. So fucks wrong with me? Could damage to the testicles mess up my HPTA this badly? I never took any steroidal exogenous hormones btw. Unless my protein powder was spiked rofl.

Sorry for the third reply, but do you consider my SHBG to be on the low end? The endos gave it no attention what so ever. What could cause low shbg?

Shbg is a little higher which would cause your free t to be a little lower. Not much you can do about shbg. I dont see any test for free t. Tsh effects many things. I’m not an expert on the subject of the thyroid but there are people who can help. Regardless of your adenoma your prolactin is high.
