I’m on clomid and arimidex. TT back into the 500-600 range. I feel much better than when I was sub 200TT. 750 would be really nice I bet though.
How long are you down for and how long until you can lift things again?
I was told i can go back to work in a week and I can’t lift for about a month odd thing is with this varicocele idk if im secondary or primary yet but labs hint at secondary which is weird since varicoceles affect the testicles but i also took hcg which is what i think vaused the vaticocele ro flair up with all the testes activity…well find out after surgery I guess my total t isn’t horrible yet it’s at 400 but my free t is 5 to 8 so I believe I should be higher it’s all confusing and draining man doc might want to try a clomid restart before surgery to see if maybe I just disrupted my system with the hcg

Been on the clomid+arimidex for about a year and a half. I feel fucking great. Wish I had done this years ago, but instead, through ignorance I suffered.
Wish I could tell myself 20 years ago to go get checked.
How old are you do you think when all this started and with my test being in the 400s at 26 Do you think clomid could help me restart and maintain a higher level since it’s my free t that’s bad? I guess time will tell after the surgery just odd my estrogen is bad at like 10

KSMan thinks you are primary hypogonadism, in which case clomid wouldn’t work. However, if you are primary because of the variocele, you might have some good results afterwards with nothing.
I’d wait and see, give it a month or two after surgery and get blood drawn.
Ok I’m a weird case when it comes to primary or secondary my lh and fsh are still in normal range lower side right now but I 've gotten a mid number readings on lh prior to my low reading and I’ve been told lh is hard to get a good reading on plus ive read if your primary youd have high high lh and fsh with low t my highest lh reading was 7 at one point…also KSman has told me I’m primary then secondary then primary so I’m gonna let the doctors figure it out no dis respect but I mean lol I’ve told I’m both so far so idk

A round of hcg will tell you real quick if your primary or not. Keep moving forward boss. You have your procedure next week. Get past that and recover.
I do 25mgs on weekdays. I started out at 12.5mg/day. Increasing the dose got me maybe an extra 50-100TT boost. No side effects from the clomid. I do approx 1/4mg arimidex / day.

Gotcha. I met with my urologist for a consultation. He recommended against the varicelectomy. We scheduled the vasectomy for September 13th. He reviewed my blood work and agreed that my issues were estrogen related and felt that at my age a varicelectomy would not benefit my test levels.
Your estrogens low because your t is low though…you gonna do the trt? I’m thinking Bout it I’m at the point where I’m not to worried anymore if I have knowledge and my doctor does it’s only gonna benefit guys like us ya know
Nah. No trt for me. Ive got my estrogen back up. Saw the endocrine specialists this morning. We are doing bloodwork in the morning. My prolactin, lh and fsh were never tested so we are running those. She seems to think I may have a pituitary tumor. If prolactin comes back high we will do an mri to verify. If there is she said we can shrink it with medicine.
Getting rid of those doesn’t always mean returning levels stay educated on trt just in case
Did getting your estrogen back up help? Also what was your free t that matters more increasing estrogen will decrease t more
I was able to slightly increase my total and free t but I increased my estrogen back within acceptable range. Its at the lower end but I felt the difference dramatically. Suddenly all the depression and ed symptoms went away. I just saw an endo last thursday. She reviewed my paperwork and expressed concern that I may possibly have a tumor on my pituitary gland. We ran more blood work on Friday morning as I have never been tested for prolactin. I asked tgat we do a full hormone panel including: lh, fsh, tt, ft, e2 and prolactin. Hopefully it will give us some more insight into this situation. She said if the prolactin is high I will immediately go on cabergoline.

I received my blood test results from the endo. Everything came back normal except now my estrogen is through the roof. The doc asked me to stop taking any and all supplements/herbs and we will retest in the near future. So I went from no estrogen to way to much estrogen but not really that much more Test. What a roller coaster ride.
