Varicocele and TRT

Get the surgery mate, my pain that felt like being constantly kicked in the nuts has completely faded. It was absolute torture while i had it. Doctors said my varicoceles were “small” but after the surgery my urologist told me that my veins were actually quite big lmao. Go for the surgery, but do it with a doctor that has a lot of experience with surgery.

Im warning you though, you wont be able to walk properly for like 2 months. Ignore what they say about recovery time being 1 to 2 weeks. Thats absolute bull. Your balls will become like grapefruits and the gash they cut in your abdomen will feel like youre getting stabbed repeatedly. So be ready for the pain coming up.

Yea but I’m not in pain at all. But as far as your natural testosterone goes does it even make a diffence to put my self through that is the question??

I can’t tell you honestly. They tested me 3 days before the surgery and my Testosterone was supposedly in the 280 range. Now 8 months later my test is at 600. I dont know if the first Test was a fault of the laboratory. Maybe my test was indeed that fucking low, but when i took the initial test i was flying from abroad and i was sleepless for like almost 2 days.

I still have penile dryness, shrinkage, loss of erections and im infertile in regards to sperm mobility and volume. Im suspecting its because of my tumor since i had a doppler follow up and everything seemed okay and the surgery was a success.

Look, even if it fixes testosterone parameters or not, the thought that it removes your PAIN and improves your fertility (not for me) is worth takign it. The pain was unbareable for me, it felt like i was getting kicked in the nuts 24/7 mate.

If you don’t mind me asking where is your tumor located??
Also are you on TRT

No not on TRT at the moment. My tumor is a small pituitary microadenoma on the right side of my pituitary gland.

are you think about starting TRT

Dude you have a adenoma and high prolactin just because it’s not 3 times the amount doesn’t mean it’s not messing it up deal with that first then thyrpid etc it may balance everything out…It might not be 3x as high yet.

I might if dostinex doesnt work on me,

Thank you wade, i know you’re speaking common sense but the doctors refuse to treat me with dostinex like i mentioned earlier. I managed to get a recipe from one of them and i might go buy it and try it out myself and slowly see how im feeling.

My prolactin always seems to be on the higher end, and sometimes even above the higher range. I don’t understand why it is with these doctors that once they see that ur not in the 100+ range they refuse to treat you. A normal prolactin level for males from what im aware of is between 3 and 15 or something along those lines. I have about 46. Which is almost triple the amount.

I’ll actually go buy some dostinex tomorrow, discuss it with my andrologist and see what he says. But even if he refuses me i might start the treatment

You are very correct about what you are saying and you are talking some sense into my head, so thank you.

Is dostinex cabergoline?

do you recommend uro over endos?

hey man i have a micro too but its 3.9. did you do any trt? im about to go that route

No im not on trt. did you get any treatment for you microadenoma? any dostinex?

yes it is

The report for my pituitary MRI reads as thus:

FINDINGS
Within the right aspect of the pituitary gland there is a nodular lession seen on pre- and post contrast sequences measuring about 6.7 (RL) x 4mm (CC) x 5,7 mm (AP) in keeping with a microadenoma. The superior border of the gland is slightly convex, the posterior bright spot is present. The pituitary stalk measures about 3mm (RL).
Unremarkable appearances of the cerebral hemispheres, the brainstem and cerebellum. The basilar cisterns, verticular system and cortical sulci are unremarkable.
Small retention cyst within the left maxillary sinuse noted.

Conclusion:
Nodular lesion within the right side of the pituitary gland measuring about 6,7x4x5,7mm in keeping with a microadenoma.

So i think mine is a bit bigger than yours. :stuck_out_tongue:

Your not gonna try to get it taken out or get caves to try and shrink it

danggggg!

heres mine with full details!
mine might be smaller but its causing hell. the weird part is, prolactin is normal acth is a bit high at 62 but yeah my lh and fsh are low end. i still havent tried gaining weight or trying “naturally” tho cuz symptoms are disgusting and its hard af to calm the anxiety. for treatment well as you know docs treat with random protocols like 1 injection every 2 weeks or once a month and not even checking e2 so im still clueless on where to go. it seems like ill end up trt with hcg via defy. and you? whats your treatment so far and life?

im actually both primary and secundary. when i was born one of my testis didnt drop and needed fix. it seems it might have been dmg ever since and the tumor might be causing a party up in there. weird thing is that my lh is at .9 fsh 1 worst thing is igf1 at 88 LOL

bro you have test of 600! then again it depends on how you feel. my test is at 180 xD

Hey mate, i feel absolutely horrible even with test at 600.

Im constantly fatigued, have weak erections, no morning boners, penile dryness and shrinkage.
Plus this tumor thing is bothering me. Why did you say “daaaaaaaamn” by the way??
Im planning on taking dostinex for a month to see if i feel any better despite what docs are telling me that my prolactin isnt too high, whats your prolactin level at??

I just came back from the andrologist. He tested my prostate and my balls. I told him my balls ache when he touches them and he noticed that as well and told me its probably not from the surgery but something else causing it.

He gave me an RX with Bactrimel and Naprorex to rule out any potential bacterial infection because it can cause such symptoms that i have. He also wrote me cialis which im not fond of but im willing to takje them for my psychological support. But i bet my left shrivelled nut it wont help with anything, i took cialis before once and it didnt help. Perhaps taking it long term though it might, its gonna be an interesting experiment none the less doing it for 30 days, just to rule out any “psychological issues” that he mentioned as well.

I argued a bit with him that its NOT psychological, he told me that because ive been struggling for 2 years it probably grew my issues tenfold, i understand where hes coming from and hes right of course, because doctors here completely cracked my fucking will to live at this point. He was just being a nice guy in general, he wants to help me out.

Might also get a tihrd opinion from another endo for Dostinex regarding my pituitary tumor just to see what they say.
