Update for Bill, Others - Results on Steroid Diet

About 2 weeks I posted a thread about my plan to drop from 13% bodyfat to 8% in 6 weeks time. I decided on a 2 week plan of MAG-10 with severe dieting as per Cy’s steroid dieting article followed by 2 weeks off and then back on again w/ MAG-10 and severe dieting for the last 2 weeks. I’m taking 3 caps/day of Old T2 & 6 caps/day of Old MD6 along with 10ml/day of MAG-10 and 5-10g creatine/day. My diet is pretty much 2 scoops adv. protein (or the equivalent) with 6 fish oil capsules for 3 meals, 2 scoops surge for 1 meal, and 1 chicken filet, 1 scoop protein and vegetables for my 5th meal. Total calories is about 1,500. I’ve done pretty well and I give the credit to using Surge on workout days. Without those carbs I wouldn’t be able to manage this severe diet or doing workouts.

The Results: Tomorrow will be Day 12 of my first 2 weeks and today when I weighed my bodyweight was down from 202.5 lbs. to 196.5 lbs. I would imagine at least 3 lbs. of that is fat, some glycogen, some water, very very little lean mass. More than that, I can now see my abs, obliques & intercoastals, and serratus anterior for the first time in a long while. My waist is down to 34.5 inches from a 36. Arms and chest are the same. After workouts I look the best I've looked I think but otherwise in the day I feel and look pretty flat. My strength is way down, despite using MAG-10. I suspect this is because of depleted glycogen levels and that my strength will rebound eventually. Overall, I am pleased with my results.

Question: What sort of diet should I bridge with during my 2 weeks of maintenance dieting. Clearly I don't want to go back to 30% carbs. My thought was to have a P+C meal in morning and for post-workout and 3 P+F meals and eat maintenance calories. This would probably equate to a 50% protein, 30% fat, 20% carbs. For supps, I was thinking of continuing the MD6, since I have enough, using 10g creatine/day still, and obviously Tribex+M. Does this sound like a good bridge? Is that too many carbs considering I'm only consuming 70g now (20%)? After these 2 weeks I will determine my measurements and bodyfat to plan my next 2 week severe diet.

All suggestions and advice are welcome. I’d like to here others success and results with the steroid diet too. I’ll update on Day 14.

A mistake in my post. I measured today and my arms and chest are both down .5 inch. I hope this is fat and glycogen and not muscle. Any suggestions for my diet??

Scott, I did the same plan you are doing except with the T-Dawg and Mag-10…on my two week maintenance phase I think I was at like 50% protein, 17% carbs, 33% fat…damn near what you are thinking. It worked very well for me…by the way, while on the T-Dawg I was at 100g carbs lift days, around 70 off days. I kept the carbs the same on my maintenance phase and just got to maintenance cals with added protein and fat.
