Upcoming Test E + NPP Cycle + Mast?

6 days ago first pin 50mg npp EOD. My training today after restday wa incredibly good. The pumps are noticeable stronger and my strength goes up. Also my work capacity seems to be up, recovery as well. Weight slowly increases. I’ve never had problems with water not even on 650 mg test so I assume I won’t have it with npp.

I would like to know do you have some suggestions for training on gear (test and npp) for aesthetic purposes? Bro split? Or something more frequent?

Then I don’t sleep very well the last days. I mean I wake up after 4/5 hours and I ready to go. Is that normal on NPP?

Personally I like PPL and you build out your program from that base. But if the bro split works for you and you can do adequate volume then go for it.

Sleep issues from NPP could be from high e2 or they could be from the NPP specifically. I know nandrolone has some dopamine interactions (it’s 5:30am, my brain isn’t awake enough to remember wtf nand does to dopamine) and sleep could be impacted.

Yeah I like ppl too and upper lower or something like that. More frequent training was my style for the last year’s as a natural I think it’s better more often less volume. But now on gear I’m thinking about to do something like a brosplit with high volume?! My thoughts are that your PS is elevated due to the aas so you don’t need to stimulate it through training, hmm.

Training was not good today I did only quads. I think because of the shitty night I’ve had.

Most of my NPP insomnia is because I am too hot to sleep. I got a heated/cooled matress cover that has completely eliminated that issue. I still have small insomnia problems, but usually as long as I’m eating relatively clean, my insomnia isn’t too bad and I can roll over and go back to sleep within a few minutes

Could It be that NPP crashes my blood sugar? I’ll let something to eat maybe some fruit near my bed and see it that’s the problem.

I suppose that’s not impossible, though I highly doubt it. To be fair I have nothing to go off of other than it’s just what I think

Could you link this? How well does the cooling work? Might be really nice in the summer.

When I bought mine it was about 2/3 the cost that it is now. This one actually cool underneath of you, not just on top of you, and I love it

I would try the one @throwawayfitness recommended first, as it is a fraction of the price, like 1/5th. I bet I could save some serious money in the summer on AC. I like it cold at night.

It’s still to early to make assumptions we’ll see the next days today I’m very tired so I know I’ll sleep well. The problem could appear tomorrow!

I recommend you check out John Meadows’ you tube videos and programs. For bodybuilding, it’s about as good as it gets.

Me too while on NPP. The only things I have found that help are eating a really big meal 2-3 hours before bed and taking melatonin about an hour before bed.

I know John Meadows very well and his channel I almost watched every video. But he shows a lot of training styles low volume high frequency, low frequency and high volume and so on. I think I’ll split my training a bit more and up the volume gradually. I think on gear you don’t have to train more often as you get the higher PS from the gear so training 3/4 split and then maybe after some months go even to 5/6 split. I believe however that you have to have an escalating approach with everything gear, food and training so you’ll keep the gains coming. Yes the in plateau will come eventually but increasing things let you milk out the current state! When you hit the wall you can reload one week or so and then go again from small to large. Little to much and so on.

I already take some melatonin before bed for one year I think right now I have to up my dose. Because yesterday I took and benzo but I don’t want to take benzos every night -.- so we have to find a solution.

Btw I’m one week into 200mg NPP and my test I upped it last Thursday from 150 to 300. So the test have still to reach effective levels.
Planning on upping the NPP dose after 4 weeks and go up to 350.
