Captain America=Weak bodied strong hearted man turned into perfect athlete
Hulk=Some guy with split personality blown up and turns into really pissed off green monster who “smashes”
No need to incorporate Cap’s origin into the Hulk at all, maybe a throw away line here or there to set up the next film but come on
But they are related. In the Ultimate storyline, finding Cap’s body is a major drive for Banner…because the details of the serum were lost and his body would be the only clue to what they actually injected him with. Banner wants access to it because he believes it will give him control over the Hulk.
I don’t care for the Ultimate universe.
Talk talk talk, clever pop culture reference, talk talk, big fight, gasp the heroes lost, heroes come back adn beat the villians
Before anyone asks, no I don’t own this book(I have a reprint). I could have bought one at Million Year Picnic in Cambridge ma for $75 in the mid 80’s. To this day I kick myself in the ass over that

Actually…the hulk is a result of Banners failed attempt at replicating the ss serum…when cap is found, they planned to just copy his formula since Banners was so unstable…end geek mode…I love comic book talk
Know what folks, I don’t care what Marvel tried to do by poo-pooing the super soldier serum. The original story of Captain America is the gold standard to me. The super serum is the foundation for Steve Rogers to be the man he becomes as Captain America.
Lol…this is like doctors for the longest time saying steroids gave an athlete absolutely NO performance advantages whatsoever. It’s all in the genetics they say. ha ha!

See and here I thought Banner was testing a new bomb and a kid got in the way so Banner pushed said kid into a fox hole and Banner got his ass blown up. Tried true and original keep it nice and simple no need to incorporate the Ultimate universe bs that Bendis is force feeidng the sheep

The serum is what gives his body the strength, it was his heart adn how he was raised that made him Captain America. That’s why everytime he’s been replaced/quit he always comes back. Granted this time he has a rifle bullet in his chest so it will be a little harder
I saw the little thing at the end of iron man where Nick fury talked to tony stark about the avenger inititiave and I was thinking no way
but there was a few different versians of the avengers which one do you guys think will end up on film?
I read that they are going to start shooing soon an ant man movie
but they need a wasp next.
i mean look what they have already,
x-men which they have beast and then they have hulk and the fantastic 4 with thing and that human tourch guy.
and they have spider man
I am not sure if dare devil was an avenger or not I think he was.
but main ones were hulk, antman ,wasp, iron man,and thor.captian america came later but still was a main figure .
but looks like marvel has the bases covered for movies for a long time to come based on the avengers.

I take it you don’t like the Ultimate Universe?
Not really it’s like watching a Kevin Smith movie, people speaking in ways that people don’t and nothing is really resolved.
