Ugh this is exactly what I was thinking.

Some of you guys are just the worst when it comes to music.

I get so sick of watching bodybuilding videos on youtube too, because all people do is take an otherwise great collection of videos and string them together with the worst possible modern rock songs ever. The last thing I want to do is see the workout scenes in pumping iron while listening to LET THE BODIES HIT THE FLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEWHHHHHRRRR NA NA NA NA!!!

Granted this is coming from the guy that listens to Cheryl Lynn and Chaka Khan when he works out.[/quote]

You’re gonna loooove this.

mmm a little bit of this a little bit of that

x2

And on a slightly related note: To each his own and all but, I’ll never understand how people can get a full playlist full of thrash/death/some other extreme sounding metal and listen to that while working out. You’d think a bunch of songs with loud crunchy riffs, fast solos and growled/screamed vocals would have a diminishing effect, if it had any at all.

^Dig=new pr.

Anything by Pantera (im a bit biased obviously).

Can definitely agree with the diversity in your playlist to give proper contrast, but there is alot of differences in the things youre lumping together here. The different subgenres of metal and the bands themselves all have different defining attributes.

Not that i dont appreciate other types of music as well, but for training this it what works for me.
