(Un)official 2026 T-ransformation Challenge

I don’t know if I’m unhappy with how I look or how goofy these pictures look but here they are! (The shorts are cool though) My goal is to finish running the Hoss Project 2.0, take a supertotal at the end of the challenge timeframe, compete in a strongman comp (possibly two) in the April-May time frame, and maybe find another rugby game to play in (this is sort of dependent on my gf’s work schedule). I’m slanting this challenge to be more performance oriented over just getting super lean although I do plan to lose a few pounds just by not eating like an asshole.

I’m walking around at around 195lbs and I’m also coming off a month of reduced activity because I jacked up my hip. I have a little extra bloat/water retention because I’ve been at my moms house since Christmas. Between the food and having a few cocktails while watching detective shows with her, I’m bloating hardcore. Regardless I feel like I’ve been getting stronger so I hope to hold onto that during the challenge.

I dont want flexing pics of me on my phone.

I make vids upload them to the tube and remove them from the device.

I assume this is the same with this forum server and photo upload from my phone?

Edit, I just changed my avatar with a pic from my vid from last night. Who remembers the old avatar with the tied up shirt? Looks to me like I’ve made progress, this all I need to see here. Of course I will continue making progress @Andrewgen_Receptors

I’m in. Goal is to get healthy. Currently in physical therapy for a host of chronic, nagging injuries that don’t want to go away. If I can press without shoulder pain, hit legs without hip/low back pain, and run without achilles pain I’ll be pretty happy. @TrainForPain

@TrainForPain with apologies to the only full length mirror I could access, which is in my boys’ room and absolutely filthy.
Imagine:
“Honey, why are you cleaning the boys room mirror”?
“So i can take better underwear pics of my fat self for the internet”
No thanks, I’ll leave it dirty and avoid that conversation!
Goals: I’ve discussed at some length but I’ll set a concrete goal for the T-ransformation and tag you when I do.

Weighed 266 today. Definitely went YOLO for the holidays on eating.

Bringing my worse physique that I can remember to the new years.

I purchased a pair of 22KG KBs, they were sold out of 24s, and am planning on running Dan Johns ABF later this year. First things first, it’s time to become a smaller human overall. 8 weeks of Dan John’s ES4FL is the prescription to start the year. Then ABF. After that I will see where I am at.

Last year I was focused on doing 2 powerlifting meets. Only competed in one, hurt my shoulder and dropped out of the other one. This year I plan to become proficient with the KB. I might even try to find a coach and get a certificate.

My focus will be on improving my strength in the trap deadlift, bench, back squat and OHP.
Calculated 1RM as of today
Deadlift 222 lbs.
Bench 106 lbs.
Squat 155 lbs.
OHP 72 lbs.

I don’t have any specific physique goals but I won’t complain if things are less squishy by the end.

Here is my entry.

Goal for the year. Not break any body part. The list of injury is long enough. Get more muscles, mobility and agility.

Expect a lot of ski, mtb and some hiking and other random stuff thrown in the mix.

Body weight 137.8lb at 5’8”.
