Are succulent pumps against the rules?

Might be against some laws let alone the rules of this comp!

Just gonna tag @TrainForPain here, since he has taken point here.

@freshyfresh So excited to see you pursue the Randallness! I really believe all trainees should do that at least once, and especially at your age.

And @TrainForPain speaks to truth on the Velocity Diet. No better way to kickstart this process and absolutely shatter your paradigms. I found out just how little fuel I “needed” to be able to still be awesome.

One more time :roll_eyes: my mind knows I don’t stand a snowball’s chance in hell, but my heart says go for it! It’s all in good fun. I turned 55 yesterday, so I guess I will do the best I can with what I have to work with :rofl:
Focusing more on getting some strength back rather than hypertrophy. We shall see.

Any idea how long the sale will be?

I don’t know.

@Chris_Shugart maybe?

I am doing a 3 day per week push pull legs program for hypertrophy with a nutrition plan of losing a pound a week using Cronometer. I focus on total calories over types of calories (still getting my bodyweight in grams of protein though) but shoot from fruits, veggies, and meat, with a lot of eggs because we have chickens and they are free.

FYI you’ll probably do better to have relatively low fats and higher carbs. For daily fat intake, 0.21-0.3g/lb bodyweight seems to be the most you need to support your hormone production; anything more is only better for digestion and compliance purposes.

Carbs are better as a fuel source for performance, and you store less of them as fat (compared to actual dietary fat).

Here goes.

Weighed in at 92.4kg. Probably about 1kg of holiday bloat to drop there.

Goal is to get down to lean out and get rid of the love handles. Im not fussed what the scale says but my brain does think 85ish was my previous lean self so will be around there somewhere.
I know ill need to clean up my diet and cut any alcohol/junk food. Trainig wise i just need to keep consistent.

It’ll be a real fun time to move some bigger weight and live out a semi-bloatlord dream! Probably will help with strongman but that’s a secondary benefit

Sounds like a sold enough plan. Do you plan to do any conditioning work outside of the gym ?

This looks like it could be your best starting point. I think you have got this chicken, you just to do something every day.
