Thanks for the intelligent analysis. This sounds like something that I’d read on the Sherdog.com forums, not T-Nation. Remember that TUF is a television show. The producers are going to paint individuals as certain personae. Leben was the clown. Diego was the psycho. Koscheck was the trouble-maker. Sam was the lying, stealing bastard. It is all in the editing.
I’m not a Hoger fan. If you check back to my earlier posts in this thread, you will see that I have been supporting Forrest since the beginning. However, I think we should give people some benefit-of-the-doubt when the media is involved, Sam included. Just my humble opinion…
I have to agree with Z-man, Sam looked like the better fighter until he started taking hits then he folded up. It did make him look like he had no heart or defense.
and download the Kenny Florian BJJ and MMA highlights. I’m thinking Deago could have some STIFF competition Saturday! Kenny has some awesome ground skills. He looks much more poised and patient on the ground than I expected. Then again, his fight with Leibien was the first time I’d seen him fight so it’s not like I had a good base for comparison.
Have you guys looked at the fight cards for this Saturday? All the fighters on the show will be fighting, but only the finalists will be televised.
TUF Finale Fight Card
Middlweight Final
Diego Sanchez vs. Kenny Florian
Light Heavyweight Final
Forrest Griffin vs. Stephan Bonnar
Ken Shamrock vs. Rich Franklin
Non-televised preliminary bouts:
Josh Koscheck vs. Chris Sanford
Chris Leben vs. Jason Thacker
Lodune Sincaid vs. Nate Quarry
Alex Karalexis vs. Josh Rafferty

I know, and that is just irritating. The show is 2.5 hours long. That means a lot of bullshit to fill the space among a meager three fights.
I just don’t know why UFC doesn’t want to televise the undercards. Anyone?
The show will be 2 1/2 hrs? Damn, they should show all the fights since we’ve been watching the show and would like to see them fight each other again. Anyway, I think is all a money making deal. They’re gonna put the whole show on DVD and make money off the fans. I was going to get tickets to the fights but damn, $150 for nosebleed seats.
i just read an interview from dana white and he said they didn’t know what they were going to do with the preliminary bouts. they may play them at a later date on spike or ppv them. i hope they play them on spike cuz i would really like to see them but i don’t know if i would pay 40 bucks for them. i think alex s. and mike swick would be a great fight and bobby s. and hoger should be good since they don’t like one another.
Diego dominated, it was no contest…and no one bitch about me talking about this before anyone else sees it as its a “live event”.
I laugh my ass off when Diego keeps on mentioning his love for God, which is his religion and right, but then he goes and says “like a pitbull I smelled blood and went after it”. I still think he’s damn cool, and funny when he screams “YES!”.
Kenny Florian doesn’t really seem to have that “will power”, you know what I mean? The fight with Leben would have went Leben’s way if it wasn’t for that fluke elbow.
