Damn dude, I’m in California and it’s only 10pm. Another hr before it’s on. Thanks for the spoiled. Like the last post, WARN US.
Excuse the fuck out of me. Didn’t mean to piss anyone off. Next week I’ll wait till Tuesday morning to voice any comments.
Damn crybabys
sorry guys that didn’t even occur to me, actually the other guy after me spoiled it more though. Leban must be pissed, losing 2 fights in a row he should have won!

You should be ashamed of yourself, you are a horrible, horrible human being! How dare you ruin the end of a one-hour reality TV show for these people, I mean what the hell kind of pschologial damage have you done to these poor souls?
Anyone complaining because they have a quick scrolling mouse should realize that anyone would have posted such, it wasn’t even a mistake, how was he to know?
Ok here you guys go.
WARNING DO NOT READ BELOW IF YOU THINK I AM PSYCHIC! WARNING PSYCHIC SPOILER BELOW!
I think that Koscheck will beat Diego next week, I just see it happening. I think Koscheck is way tougher than he seems at point blank, and his wrestling skills…it looks like it will be his next week.
son, we’re joking…
Anyway WOW Florian got WORKED…I actually feel bad for chris man, this is the 2nd time this shit happened and all on account of bad luck really.
Kenny looks like he’s pretty much over considering he’d have to fight koschek or diego…but those two could turn out to be better matches for him as they look like they’d fall prey to his BJJ skills. If he’s a black belt…jeez
A true bjj black belt is comparable to an olympic level wrestler. They don’t just hand those out…
As a sidenote, I was watching some Don Familton tapes I have (boxing coach with like 40+ yrs of experience) and I realized that Nate Quarry is in the videos too! He’s demonstrating time to time (straight blast gym production for those of you who want to see it).
None of these guys have really solid standup… even in the UFC even Liddel’s standup is ‘unorthodox’ its not technically sound (but it does work obviously).
For example the guy that knocked out Robby Lawler (sanchez??) both have horrible standup as far as being technically sound, and the only reason the guy knocked robby out is because robby can’t keep his hands up when he’s angry he just swings like a gorilla.
But Nate Quarry, WOW they are LUCKY that he got injured cause he would dominate standing up…his standup is CRISP. I wonder how is ground work is.
(not saying i’m even on par with these guys, I’d like to be able to say I have better stand up but I’m not an idiot…Just from the armchair quarter back position you can see obvious holes in their standup if you only take a cursory glance at their standup abilities the basics really aren’t there…and if u want to see an array of NHB fighters who have great standup… PRIDEFC is the best bet (Mirko CroCop, Wanderlei Silva, etc))
I can’t wait to see Koschek V Diego!
I have to give Diego the edge from what I’ve seen of koschek but it should be a great fight. I have no preference between those guys, I was really hoping Leben would win.
Diego seems like he’d be a more exciting fighter in the octagon. Unless Kos just starts slamming mothafuckas Rampage Jackson style!
and I agree they do seem to be building it up like Kos is going to win…which would be cool. If he adds some more skills he’d be lethal.
Oh and um… just to add the spoiling going on in here.
It probably is Kos.
Diego fought in some other mma fight not too long ago, and I doubt he’d be doing that if he had a UFC contract.
I could be wrong though.
But still, consider your shit ruined

Had to use that, too funny.
Again, I apologize for spoiling it for you West Coast folks. I have no clue of Diego vs Koscheck, just gonna be a hell of a fight, great one to watch. Unless something unforseen happens, such as a severe cut, freak knock out, Kenny actually uses groundwork effectively, the winner of the Diego- Josh match will be your middleweight winner in the end.
I’m actually more interested now in the light-heavy matches. I’d hate to see Bobby get Forrests spot, because of a damn cut. Nasty cut though.
I wasn’t really impressed with leben all that much, he pretty much came straight in with the same 2 attacks and kenny never really took too much damage. I mean sure he glanced him a lot, but I never saw any straight up head snapping shots from leben. Kenny on the other hand, pretty much played defense for the first round and then got in four or five good shots in the second round. He obviously did more damage than chris did as he cut the hell out of his eye. While I didn’t think his standup was all that great, his evasion looked pretty good, for going against a guy who is supposedly a great standup fighter. He should easily hang with the other guys in standup, and if/when it goes to the ground, I think being a black belt in BJJ will probably make him the better ground fighter.
i feel real bad for leben. he seems like a real cool guy who is having some shitty luck. well not really in the kos fight he just wasn’t nearly aggressive enough which he understood and decided to come out and unleash on kenny which he did also. he really took the fight to kenny and pretty much dominated the entire fight. i agree that kenny did of good job of escaping and avoiding a lot of punishment but never the less, he was still gettin physically dominated and outworked. kenny landed a couple good shots but didn’t phase leben at all.
in my humble opinion i think that leben should have went ahead and taken the fight to the ground. i realize that kenny is a black belt in bjj but i think that leben could have physically overpowered him and got into the guard and he could have avoided that cut if he would have taken him down and g&p or lay and pray. i know it’s boring but hey, it would have gotten him into the finals. now i think that kenny is a good guy and i realize that anything can happen throughout the course of a fight, but what i didn’t agree with is how everyone was like “oh great job kenny, great fight kenny, oh you were amazing kenny.” i admit that he showed a lot of heart to stick in there and keep defending and protecting against some of those barrages but winning a fight like that is like kissin your sister. he got physically dominated and outworked and landed ONE elbow. ONE. again kenny is a good guy and i wish him luck but come on. that was leben’s fight and he deserved to be in the finals. also on a quick side note i was very surprised at how well alex s. fought last week. he fought well he just didn’t know what to do when he went to the ground. hopefully he gets back in the ufc someday.
WARNING!!! SPOILER!!!

Just kidding.
Its 945 CST here, waiting for the show.
Any predictions for tonights fight?
I’m picking Diego, think it’ll be by submission, 2nd round.
I’m pulling for josh but I really see diego taking it.
I think either way its gonna be a boring fight, but Diego will win.

AWESOME!!! BEST FRIGGING FIGHT YET!!! So happy Diego won, and so happy the judges didn’t give Koscheck credit for his sissy lay n pray strategy. Honestly, even without the whole manufactured producer feuled conflict between him and leben, i just dont like his attitude, especially his boy boobby’s whining “that was a bullsh-t decision, that was a bullsh-t decision” No it wasn’t it was a close fight that coulda gone either way. Damn, I hope forrest’s eye heals so i dont have to listen to that dumb sob
I can’t wait to see Sam get his ass kicked.
Which one of those retard refs scored it 30-27 for Koschek? I know bjj blackbelts are badass and all, but I’m not at all impressed with any of Kenny’s skills so far, I really think Diego should take the final hands down.
Fight was excellent. Glad to finally see someone go for some submissions while on the ground, Diego was working Josh’s ass all over the mat.
If Kenny is a BB in BBJ, then I would expect the final to be a total ground fight exhibition. Be nice to watch it go that way.
Who y’all think between Mike and Stephan? Haven’t seen Mike fight yet so I dont’ know what to think. Also did you get the feeling from thw teaser for next week that they’ll be showng BOTH heavyweight semis next week?
As I understand. they’ll show both fight next week. The finals are on April 10th, so they would actually have to have both fights next Monday.
did anyone else think Josh could have choked out Diego one time? I remember seeing him have Diego turned around but then they stood up right away. I think if Josh woulda worked on his submissions he could have won.

I think if Josh had any ground skills at all, he could have ended the fight two or three times.
Someone on the “how tough are you” thread told me to keep my head down to avoid getting hit in the face. That advice didn’t work too well for Josh - his face looked like a tomato from all the knees he caught with his face.
It did appear that a choke was open for Kos…but at that point he was too tired to try anything…the guy could barely stand at the end!
