Mr. White almost cheeses his drawers…?
That right there…is even more pathetic than the fight itself. Any other time Dana shit’s bricks about guy’s gassing and putting on weak performances like that.
P.S. Kimbo sucks and those breadstick legs wouldn’t know a squat if it hit em. Why was he ever relevent?
Apparently, Kimbo is very relevant. At work, we have this big ass plasma tv in our office and there was an interview with Brett Rogers. When my co-worker saw it, he knows nothing about MMA, he asked me who that guy is.
co-worker: “Who is that, do you know him? Is he good?”
me: “That’s Brett Rogers. He recently became a top 10 heavyweight by knocking out a previously number 2 heavyweight. He’s about to fight the number 1 guy soon.”
Marcus Jones did great tonight, I thought his fight would be won by punching someone in the head, but he did it by submission. I look forward to seeing him in more fights.

WELL…he did say he was going to take someone’s arm home with him. He wasn’t lying…LOL. I heard he had good BJJ…but had never seen it in action…not bad at all.
Aww man! Rampage is trying to sacrifice my boy Darrill to Big Baby…haha. That’s gonna be a hell of a fight…don’t let “titties” fool you…he’s not afraid of shit.
And I’m sorry…but I lol’d @ Kimbo saying he’s a team player.
I was watching the World Series and only saw the fight. I saw Junk had a busted up eye. Was that from his fight with Matt, or did something happen in the house?
Marcus looked legit! Awesome BJJ and nice submission. At least Team Rampage got 1 win.
At the end though, when Rashad asked Rampage’s guys to train with him, I don’t know why everyone was saying no. And yeah, Kimbo saying he’s a team player cracked me up. Does he mean team player as in “my teammate got hurt, so instead of checking on his well-being, I’ll throw my hands up in the air and think I’ll fight again.”
The part at the end where someone said to Kimbo he may fight again, I don’t know if that’s a teaser (again) or not for him to fight. As I said before, if anyone from Team Rampage deserves a second chance, it’s Demico.
I did notice at the end that Junk was training with someone, so some of the guys from Team Rampage must have agreed to train with Team Rashad’s fighters.
I did feel bad for Mike. To see him cry was tough, especially with his wife having cancer.
Anyone notice Dana’s contempt for Big Country? Dana has said a few negative remarks about him a few times throughout the show, especially how his fight against Kimbo was not impressive. As if they are setting up an excuse to give the second chance, if Matt goes out, to Kimbo instead of Demico. Nelson’s comments about banging with Kimbo if it were in the finals also seem a little foreshadowing in nature. Done with my conspiracy rant…

Yeah, he got the hell beat out of him in the fight.
Enough with Kimbo already. I know he’s a big cash cow for Dana, but he doesn’t deserve another shot as much as some of the other guys on team Rampage. Demico and Junk should definitely get to fight before Kimbo does again. That being said, it would be interesting to see him stand up and bang with someone who has some striking skills. Wessel vs. Kimbo would have been an interesting fight, IMO.

scott’s eye was busted 30 seconds into the fight off of a jab or right, he had to have surgery the next day. he really isn’t tall enough to fight at heavyweight, which was made rather obvious when he was about 4-6 inches short on every punch he threw, and is looking to move to lhw…currently training up in canada with john chamberlain and crew
I am glad Marcus won but I was unimpressed by his striking. He had such a reach advantage and didn’t use it at all to his advantage. His use of range was terrible.
Yup, Marcus looks like a legit blue belt to me.
Quick hip toss. Used the americana to take the back from half guard, fucked up on back control but pulled a really quick armbar from guard. If he continues to improve his ground game and wrestling at this pace he’ll be a legit threat at heavyweight in a couple of years.
His standup looked shit, but it’s hard to tell given Wessel was throwing looping bombs at him. Marcus seemed to react to that brawling style by going into brawling mode himself, something we see with alot of MMA fighters with bad to average level striking.
Marcus’ cardio also looks like a major issue, so we’ll see how he deals with it in the next few fights.
At 35, while he does look healthy (save those knee problems), he doesn’t have a lot of time to develop his skills, but hey Carwin’s 35 and looking pretty good.
Man, Rampage definitely comes across as childish but some of his lines have me in stitches. When he asked Anderson if he’d heard about the bbq and he asks “What bbq” and Rampage said “You know, my meat on your grill” and backs up laughing I almost fell out! He had another good one last night. I imagine this is definitely how he behaves but it’s hammed up due to editing, marketing, etc… I take back what I wrote a couple of weeks ago. I still like him.
Rampage seems to have the mental capacity of a 10 year old. “Come over here tities”. Maybe funny once, twice if you’re a kid yourself, but on and on and on. Almost like watching an Adam Sandler movie, no wait, Sandler is far more mature. My teenage son who loves mma is just sick of this years nonsense. He usually just wants to tune into the final 20-30 minutes to watch the fight.
