Ultimate Fighter: Rampage vs Rashad

I’m glad we all agree on the crappiness of that fight and the crappiness of their cardio.

Dana white was yelling like that fight was amazing.

It was a really pathetic fight tonight. Just poor conditioning all around.
How do two guys, who are training under top Pros…have that little gas? I know they are heavies, but c’mon.

That was just a sad display. But I guess Dana loved it.

And Rampage is a fucking tool. Until tonight I thought Shamrock was the worst coach. Well done Rampage. Well done. Not that Rashad covered himself in glory.

The drama has gotten beyond fucking stupid.

And that door had to be fake. Seriously.

Damn,I should have tried out for the show.

You would have kicked a lot harder then Matt, that’s for sure.

In the second round, that’s the first time I saw a tired ground and pound.

RAMPAGE: Hey Rashad, why do you have your shoe off?

RASHAD: Cuz I’m about to break my foot of in yo ass!

HAHA. Love Rashad. Coolest fucking guy ever. Makes the show.

I also enjoyed Mitrione tonight. Yeah, he has voices in his head, and comes off as a first class lunatic, but I don’t think they portray him as unlikeable as maybe he really was. That, and I can appreciate people losing their shit every now and then.

Scott Junk was talkin all this junk about how hes gonna fight for Hawaii, and for his wife, and he’s gonna fight with passion, and HEART - and dude comes out and gets punched in the face by Matt. So much for his heart I guess.

Their respective cardio conditioning was absolutely appalling. They looked like high school kids fighting by the end of it. Flailing around like its a backyard brawl. Looked more like a Kimbo Slice video than a UFC fight.

Can’t wait to see Marcus next week. Dat dude is a MASS OF HUMANITY.

Horrendous fight tonight. I didn’t understand why Dana was saying it was a great fight. I guess he didn’t seem them breathing heavy and throwing flailing punches. Conditioning was atrocious from both guys. Meathead should have channeled his anger from his sparring session with Jon to the fight with Junk.

I noticed Kimbo didn’t get a lot of attention on today’s show, which is good. That was pretty weak last week when Zak went down and Kimbo threw his arms up in celebration, thinking he’s going to fight next. If anyone from Team Rampage deserves a second chance, it should be Demico. But I’m looking forward to watching Marcus fight next week, just hope he doesn’t gas like they showed him doing a few weeks ago.

I don’t know a single thing about you but I would have to say you probably would have done pretty well. Bob Sapp’s cardio and skill really looks good in comparison to some of these guys.

I had heard good things about Junk and he seemed hungry and ready to go in an interview I read and on the show. What a dissapointment. If he had anything left after the first few minutes he could have knocked out Mitrione and his lethargic, pawing punches and hands down at the waist. But I guess those “shots” took too much out of him. I guess Marcus will probably lose a boring fight next week making the sweep complete.

Wes Sims’ ninja routine was hilarious though. Too bad he lost. They should show more of him and less of everything else.

These dudes are just childish. I’m watching ep 6 right now, and how they are bombing Zack. While Rampage is bombing Schoon, these guys are pathethic like children. It’s funny to see how Rashad’s team’s culture of acceptance gives birth to winning and respect, and Rampage’s team has degraded into some playground of loser amateurs.

x2

This has to be the weakest group of fighters on TUF to date. Even the guys who have some UFC experience look like ametures. The worst conditioning I’ve ever seen! I don’t think any of them deserve a 6 figure contract to be honest.

Absolutely. I have thought that since the second show.

I was thinking the same thing. If that’s what Dana considers a “great fight”, then he’s a complete idiot.

I also think that the fight could have gone a third round (but could also see giving both rounds to Matt), but I think that the judges knew that it would be even uglier than round 2 and didn’t really want to see it.

I guess it’s official that Kimbo’s not fighting again? I hate how Spike kept making us think it was going to happen.
I’m tired of the hype as well

My cardio is not the best…and I would have to drop 35-40lbs…BUT no way I turn into slop in the first round like these guys did. Maybe it’s the pressure of the show/UFC…I don’t know. I just don’t understand how these guys have no conditioning…AT LEAST for the first round!

And my BJJ is weak…but my wrestling is decent…I know enough not to get taken down and to work my hips if I do. And not to toot my own horn, but I promise you that I would have better stand-up than what has been shown so far.

i agree though i thought rampage would at least show some respect for his fighters… man the way he took

down that door and hopes he has that energy for when he fights rashad. and he’s been there for everybody

and that says it all.though he comes off as righteous is a big turn off. too bad we’ll have to wasit for this

fight next yr.

Did anyone else notice Spike was still promoting UFC 106 as Lesnar-Carwin? Had the episode and commercials already been cut, and was too late to change it?

Rampage comes off as extremely self-absorbed.

I feel like I am watching my 10 year old son on TV.

He truly thinks this is all about him. His comment about not being a coach and that is why he brought his crew is very telling as to his attitude. He thinks it’s the ‘Rampage Show,’ where he gets to prance around like a little princess in front of all his adoring fans.

Somebody needs to say to him, “Hey, jackass. This show isn’t all about you. Quit getting butt sore and stomping off like a child every time one of your fighters lose. You have no clue how to build a team environment and get these guys to push each other and rise to the highest denominator. Instead of being a little victim bitch, how about leading by example and pulling together a team.”
