I think my opinion of Rampage lowers every week. He acts like a 5th grader, calling fighters names, having pictures drawn to make fun of the other team.
Does he actually have any knowledge to transfer to his fighters or is he just going to be doing grade-school pranks the whole time?
He’s about the most useless coach I’ve seen; he makes Shamrock look like Knute Rockne.
Hey! Leave Rampage alone. It’s a TV show…so obviously they are using editing and special effects to make him look like a fucktard.
I still like Rampage but he is a lousy coach. If I was about to fight someone and I had to listen to him rant nonstop about titties I would have snapped. Rampage should have been helping his guy get mentally prepared for his fight, not ranting on about a mans titties to the point I think he has some issues he needs to admit to.
I was thinking the exact same thing, minus the issues part. Just don’t think Rampage “get’s it” and is more interested in the sound of his own voice than in helping the people he’s being paid to help. It was also irritating watching the cut scene where he’s wearing the do-rag talking in his Mr. T voice. I mean, what the fuck is that about? They guy just loves himself and has no interest in this show if it’s not involved in drawing attention on himself. Before this show he was one of my favorite fighters. Now he’s just kind of an annoying jerk off. Also, I always thought Evans was a bit underrated and liked his style, but I definitely have more respect for him from the episodes I’ve seen. The guy’s a class act.
So what if Rampage can fight? What can he do when he injures himself and loses that ability? Does he know how to reconcile his thoughts enough to act sane and not like he is the center of attention and the world owes him something? Can he stop acting so brattish and throwing tantrums when he doesn’t get his way? Sure they’re playing it up with editing but fact is, they couldn’t play up anything if he didn’t provide it in the first place. He’s acting like a tool and there’s plenty of material to use. That’s his fault not theirs.
Rashad looks and sounds like someone who can function in the world without fighting if he needs to. Rampage doesn’t.
Kimbo raising his hands when a teammate gets hurt is bollocks. He lost a fan, completely. I know this is a competition and it’s about getting that #1 spot, but there is something to be said for loyalty. Hoping for someone’s injury so that you can play on Rampage’s foolish obsession with you just so you can fight again is LOW. You got have SOME kind of concern for your fellow man. No Bushido whatsoever.

Yes…that shit irked me as well. The more I see of Kimbo, the more I want to put him in a red pointy hat and red coat…make him stand in my mother-in-law’s garden. Anyways, yes…come on dude, chill out…and work on your ground game.

Another thing that kind of gets me is why Kimbo thinks he will be the first to fight if somebody gets injured. How is that decided? Demico Rogers would be the most deserving in my opinion. I’m still kind of amazed at the progress or the lack of progress Kimbo have shown after two years being in this business. What has he been doing in the last two years??

That’s so fucked up that Wessell couldn’t talk to his cancer ridden wife but Kimbo’s posse could watch him fight. It isn’t surprising since that is the kind of bullshit Dana pulls all the time but it’s still fucked up.
It sounds like you don’t have a lot of experience dealing with ignorant thugs from the ghetto. Discretion is the better part of valour. Especially when you are wealthy like Dana, have something to lose and have to deal with ignorant thugs.
Kimbo busted out a gat just because some guy arm barred him in practice. That really puts a new perspective on Roy Nelson showing him some respect and not destroying him in the most brutal manner possible.
Wait, what?? is this common knowledge? I’ve never heard of it before, is this written up somewhere?
Lets be honest people. RAMPAGE did not and does not want to be there. Dana made him an offer to show up and do this and do that and instead of saying HELL no I have other things on my mind. He buckled down and gave in and did the show (who knows maybe he thought it would get him more face time for the A-TEAM MOVIE).
But you can see it in his face week after week he does not want to be there. His mind was on nothing but taking a break from fighting to heal old injuries or whatever and testing out other waters like the Movies.
Dana wasn’t thinking about the fighters either he just wanted to put what he thought would be good TV on there weather or not they would be good trainers for the fighters or not.
I can’t really Blame Jackson for Being Jackson. Its not like he something else before and we see a NEW FACE ON HIM. HE’s being JACKSON OR JACKSON WHO DOES NOT WANT TO BE THERE.

yeah i never heard this either if its true dana’s fucked up big time butseriously where did you hear this??
If Wessel’s wife has cancer why in the fuck is he on TUF and not with her? He probably should not be retarded and go home to his wife…
Kimbo pulled a gat waaaaaaaay before tough started. He had just cut ties with Bas and was training somewhere else. A guy slapped Kimbo in an armbar during practice and attempted to make a point out of Kimbo…
Well Kimbo got pissed and said “Motherfucker, make a point with me…Maybe I should make a point and get my gun!”

Is it me or could they do this show a whole lot better? I mean who cares about someones shower habits, or who might be faking a shoulder injury? How much damage someone can do to the house wall interests me far less than how much damage they can do in the cage. I’d much rather see these guys training, fighting and maybe performing other sorts of athletic events. I’m just sick of the ongoing soap opera that’s become the Ultimate Fighter program.
Exactly my thoughts!
I don’t really care about all the big-boy melodrama.
Oh, and Rampage is a flappin’ idiot. Maybe he is a good fighter but I would not put up with his attitude as a coach. He’s a complete joke who needs to have his goofy grin wiped off of his face. He doesn’t take himself seriously, how can anyone else?
Really I haven’t seen any thing worthwhile with the heavy weights. Big disappointment!
Speaking of the NFL players. I was watching Bully Beatdown and I don’t know how old or new it was, but they said the fighter was going to be Michael Westbrook. I thought it was probably just a same name, but then they said ex-NFL player etc. I hadn’t heard he was fighting and I looked it up and apparently he’s a pretty good grappler. So that was cool to see, and I thought a quote of his on BJJ was interesting,“This is a lot easier and a lot more fun. I don’t have to worry about coaches and it’s not nearly as dangerous. I don’t have to worry about pleasing the public and the announcers. Or getting eggs thrown at my door because I dropped a ball. I don’t have to worry about any of that.”
yeah so i tuned in while the world series was on comercial. I.m typing this while watching and i must say I’m completely disgusted by the skill of these heavy weights. Poor striking poor submission defense and most of them dont have the cardio to make it out of the fist round. i think i taste vomit in my mouth!
