slimjim: i guarantee Kaleb makes it to the final. A tub of Metabolic Drive says I’m right. You up for that?

I was betting that you’re wrong on the matchup. I don’t doubt that Kaleb makes the finals, but I think he’ll be facing Grove, not Ed.

anyone watch on thurs…so funny how tito messed with ken.

anyway is there a Pittsburgh Area fightclub?

I love UFC 3, look forward to it all week.

Tito got hurt training for his fight with Forrest and announced that he probably won’t be ready to fight Shamrock when they were supposed to go it. I think he hurt a ligament in his knee. They should just let Forrest fight Shamrock, he would beat him anyway.

I love how they subtitled the British guys, that was awesome.

Shamrock talkin’ shit to Ortiz and Ortiz fuckin with his head was hysterical. When ol’ boy said “reach out and touch me Tito” and Tito flinched at him I about fell out my chair. I used to really like Shamrock, but he seems like a punk ass old man who mind fucks himself into thinkin’ he’s being slighted.

I think the whole thing between Tito and Shamrock seemed a little staged to me. Either it was a way for Ken to try and fire up his team (which an interview made it seem like) or its something the producers said would make the show better. I think more competition would be better for the show although I don’t really like “challenges.” Couldn’t they be a little more creative than that?

yea i thought it was so funny though…i mean ken i was a fan ever since wwf but well he kinda has been slipping as my favorite fighter now days.

Understatement of the year (I know): Ken Shamrock is a horrible coach. Period.

And someone needs to snap Kalib’s sunglasses in half. WTF already!

I feel I should add some to my last post:

My opinion of Shamrock’s fighting ability is not that of his coaching. It takes a certain type of person to coach / teach / etc. The best person at any given trade is not necessarily the best choice to teach that trade, IMO. It just seems like he lacks enthusiasm / priority management to take on this task.

And Kalib: yeah, he is a bad ass, but sunglasses all the time just bugs me.

Anyone else think the end of Solomon fight looked fishy? That kick sure didn’t look like it landed that hard, and he seemed awfully coherent a few seconds after he was “knocked out”.

It didn’t look like the kick did any damage.

Yeah! That kick didn’t even connect!

I fought against Bisping in one of my very first comps!! (back some time ago, nearly 10 years). Nearly had him then.

He is a natural fighter, and my old trainer (who is a great promotor, good at traditional JJ but pony at groundfighting skills) taught him. I think michael used to win despite his training, not because of it.

I like the way you need subtitles for him!

It’ll be interesting to see Ed Herman fight, see if he is as good as he says. I bet the final is between him and Kaleb.

the euro (or is he new zealand?) micheal bisbing will make it… (or make it far)

he was at the last UFC ppv and was interviewed by Joe rogan - where rogan said blah blah blah “welcome to the UFC”

so while the contract fights have not taken place yet. i take that as he makes it far enough to be fighting for the UFC regardless of that outcome of the show.

Hey, listen dude, dont paint us all with the same brush. some of us can tell the difference between a kiwi and a POM

one of them was from the UK and i thought the other guy said he was from NZ…

my humble applogies that i was mistaken

Who else is disapointed in this show, there wasnt even a fight. all it was, was a guy whining about his girlfriend this show has really went down hill, im pissed sorry.

wait, what the F-CK?!?! An hour of that crap and NO FIGHT!?!?! haha, oh man, what a joke, i gotta hand it to them, they have me on such a friggin string they just had me waste a friggin hour of my life so i could hear all about how everyone hates matt and noah is whipped. oh AND they didnt even tell us who was coming back. this is the televised equivalent of blue balls - all buildup and teasing with no payoff, just a pained sensation

and by the way, they are DEFINITELY pushing the homoerotic button with matt and danny, i mean, come on, the part where matt said it was "more than a friendship? and then danny moving his pillow and blankets and such to sleep in the same room with him? oookay

I agree…That was a pretty piss-poor episode. Any thoughts on who is coming back? I can’t remember what weight class Noah was in, but if they’re in the same class…I see them bringing Jesse back.

That sucked ass. I should have just watched Royce vs Hughes promos for an hour, because thats about all I got out of it.

it was noah that beat jesse in the first episode and since noah is a pussy-whipped biatch for leaving, i assume jesse will come back. even tho i think jesse is an immature douchebag, IMO. if not they should bring Solomon back just so he can trash talk and then get knocked out…at least it adds to the drama in the house.
