Is Luke a bad sumbitch, or what? I can’t even remember the name of the kid he knocked out - be he knocked him the fuck out. That is the first stone-cold knockout that I have seen on an Ultimate Fighter.
And no one wanted the kid. As Luke said last night,“So how do you like me now?”

Totally classic line. He knocked out Sammy Morgan.
It’s interesting, when they showed Mike Whitehead getting all teary after he lost (quit, punked out, choked, whatever), I’ll admit I did some giggling. Seeing a big 250+ pound dude crying with a towel over his head seemed funny.
But when Sammy finally woke up from getting knocked the F out, and his very first thought was “I didn’t make it.” and he started tearing up, it was a whole different feeling. This dude actually had a reason to be upset. He tried, he tried hard (I think he won the first round). He did a good job, just not good enough this one day.
So now, if I’m not mistaken, the final fight for the welterweights will be Luke vs. either Joe or Jason (I see Joe winning that with strikes. Leading to a Luke vs. Joe match in the finals.)
Was a nice fight. Looked like Sammy had him at the beginning of the second round, rocked him with a right hand. Luke recovered and almost knocked Sammy out once, he recovered and then caught the knee to the head. Out before he hit the floor.
What Rashad pulled at the beginning of the show was funny as hell. They set it up perfectly with all the footage of his icing his hand, and all the talk of x-rays.
I also like what Brad said about who he wanted to fight. Eli.
It was a great fight between Luke and Sam. I have huge respect for Luke who has in the last two fights gotten out of and held on during submissions that appeared locked in.
Plus finally seeing someone get KTFO was awesome, I’m incredibly pleased.
Luke’s finally brining out the killer and it’s great to finally see it.
I’m pulling for Jason to win in the other welterweight bout. I don’t if he is healed up yet, or not. But he has heart. I think everyone would get their money’s worth ourt of a Jason-Luke final.
As far as the heavies go - I don’t really care who wins as long as somebody beats the shit out of Rashad. I can’t stand that guy.
Did anyone notice during the commercial break before the fight, when they were hyping the finals and such. They show footage of Luke rocking Sam and his legs got all wobbly. And this was beforethe fight, so it pretty much gave it away. Great fight though.

Yes - I saw that. And I knew when they started the fight with ony 20 minutes left of the show that the fight was not going the distance.
But when Sam rocked Luke earlier in round 2 - I really had no idea who was going to win.

I noticed the same thing! Kinda lame for them not to catch that.
Luke has definitely impressed me.
It seems kind of fucked up that some guys make the semi’s without ever having fought on the show and other guys will have fought twice.
Time to go put on some Right Guard and drink my Xyience!
I think Sam just floated below the radar. He didnt piss anyone off to make them want to fight him. He just laid low.
Does anyone think the pair up of Joe and Jason is intended to get Joe to the finals? And even if Jason cant fight, we already know what happens when Joe and Marcus go at it. I think Joe would make it regardless.

I think it would be interesting to see if Marcus would learn from his mistakes.

I agree. I laughed by ass off at Mike. He just quit and he’s crying? Come on. But when the other guy got ko’ed and started crying it was entirely different. I really felt bad for the guy.
Luke is awesome. I think that Luke vs Jason would be a good fight but i don’t think there is a chance that either he or the boxer dude is going to get past Joe Stevenson.
So finals are almost certingly going to be Luke vs. Joe
heavy’s… Seth vs. ???
They showed a clip of Keith fighting Rashad and Keith looked like he had a really nasty cut over his eye.
I’m glad that Luke is able to vent his frustrations through martial arts and the UFC otherwise I’m afraid he’d be on top of a tower with a high powered rifle.

I second this. The man doesn’t blink. He has that look in his eye…He’s not right.

Sam was the first guy to get called out to fight. Unfortunately, his prospective opponent was TKO’d by the sauna in an effort to cut weight.
Good fight last night, Rashad vs Keith. Rashad controlled it a lot more than I thought he would, simply out fought Keith. I liked how he did what Hughes advised him to, stepped right out first thing and nailed Keith in the face, knocked him down.
I’m predicting Seth will take the second heavyweight match, not sure how, but it won’t go the distance.
Joe vs Jason? I’d love to see Jason win, but I think Joes going to ground and pound him or submit him. Should be a great fight either way though.
Quick question. if Joe wins, goes on and wins it all, won’t he and Diego be in the same weight division? That would be a sweet fight to watch.
