He just quit!! He has a chance to win a 6 figure contract, and he just quits. I have absolutely no use for quitters like that. That was the worst fight I have ever seen.

Agreed.
I second that! It was the worst fight yet. This season kinda sucks. These guys look good in training then choke in the fights, who scouted these guys??

Rashad seems to go about his business without getting rattled. That guy Mike looked like a deer in the headlights he was so off balance. I’d have to credit Rashad for that; just seemed to keep Mike in a state of confusion.

I don’t know. The Dan-Seth fight was pretty weak and Rashad’s first fight was damn slow.
Give it up again for Rashad for fighting “his fight”, staying clear and wearing down his opponnets. Does bring into question his ability to either submit or knockout someone however.
So whos the heavyweight they’re bringing in to substitute for Rashad since it appears he hurt his arm in the fight?
When Mike dropped his arms and walked off with 10 sec. left, Rashad should have pounced him with everything. Elbows, leg kicks, the works.
Matt yelling "just lean on the fence…there’s only 30 sec. left…) was classic.

i dunno…Rashad looked kinda tired from hitting him so much!! i’m really questioning Hughes ability to coach even more…he was saying Mike was a great boxer, and he looked like he never boxed before…seriously.
anyway, Rashad showed that the first fight was not indicative of his ability…
btw, any idea on who they’re bringing back next week?!?

Yea, that’s something to think about; Hughe’s coaching ability.
Again, it was a horrible fight.
I’m definately impressed with Rashad. I was under the impression from the set up in show that Mike was going to either knock him out or submit him.
I couldn’t believe Rashad didn’t take Mike’s back and choke him out when the opportunity was given.
I can’t wait to see Diego fight again at the season finale. I just want to see him choke someone out again. He does it so well and so fast.

Goes to show that just becuase you’re good at a particular skill or activity doesn’t mean you can teach it effectively.
Simplify it even more, some people can teach, some can’t.
I think that it’s absolutely hilarious that Whitehead got beat. Whitehead didn’t show anything that leads me to believe he had any fighting experience what so ever. Also, has anyone else noticed that both coaches first heavy and middle weight picks seem to be guys from their own gym? Then they get smoked in their fight by some other guy from nowheresville.
I think this show is showing more and more of the politics of fighting rather then trying to get the actual best fighters. More like a reward system of “you’ve been loyal to the gym so we will give you a chance to win a 6 fig contract with the UFC.” There has to be far better fighters out there then some of these guys. I think anyone from season one would kill most of these guys. The product placement is utterly sickening. When they rub it in my face like this I guarantee I will not buy either right guard extreme of xyience products. Show is just really starting to piss me off! when is the Contender on?
Man…I’m not impressed with any of these fighters. I think season 1 fighters had much more fight in them. These guys seem to only want to do the minimum to win. I think season 1 guys had more talent too.
After watching Forest and Bonner fight though I guess it kind of ruins it for those who don’t seem to want to throw down and leave it all out there. Dana is continuously shaking his head at these fights. Me too! I’m glad they show(here in Washington) old UFC fights before the program starts. At least we get to see some fighting then.
Hughes can be a prick but I think you got to lay it on the fighters. How about let’n go and giving it your all. Even if you lost you would still be appreciated and talked about as being a fighter instead of this minimalist shit we been seeing.
Problem is I love the potential of the show and love watching the fights in the UFC. Hope someone talks some sense into these guys let’n go and getting it on. They can’t think they are reflecting what the UFC represents. I’m still gonna watch…love the UFC and hope for the best. Can’t wait to see Franklin and Hughes defend their titles!
the fight was lame, I expected it to be a battle and I also expected mike to knock the crap out of Rashad. I enjoyed watching the fixed contender rematch.

I missed the Contender rematch. Who won? Why do you say it was fixed?
Details please.
I almost cried when i watched the last show. It was so painfull to watch a guy just give up like that. TUF1 was all heart and most of the guys form the show have gone on to fight in the UFC and do well. These guy all seem to be afriad to fight and they are all injured. You didnt hear any of the otherguy complianing about injuries on TUF1
I really feel the scouted wrong and if the semis dont get better their wont be a audience for TUF3
Im still not convinced that Rashad is a good fighter, he cant follow up his combos he doesnt take anyone down and he doesnt seem to have that knockout power.
i often wonder if maybe all the training has these guys so tired that they are just dead mentaly when they hit the fight.
Normaly when you go into a fight you have trained hard but you are also well rested and not isolated form your support group of your family and friends
at least last year they let the guy go out on the town once. SUre it ended in drama but this is reality TV and drama is better than this crappy shit.
Finaly i agree that if thye want to do product placement thats find but when its so obviosly staged its jsut sickening (no i dotn think it woudl matter if it were a product i was using)
Mora won by split decision. Manfredo clearly was the true winner. He maybe lost two rounds. Damn shame.
When was the Contender rematch, that suck’s I would have liked to see that.

The fight was on last night mora clearly lost the fight, manfredo busted him open in the first couple rounds and layed it on him all through the fight he probably lost because he didn’t punch mora to sleep. Mora did a whole lot of grabbing and not much fighting. I couldn’t believe the decision was given to him.
The corruption in boxing is what is moving more and more fans to other fighting sports, like UFC and K1. Granted there is a fair number of fixed fights in these as well. But no where near as many and here the fighters have a better chance to end the fight. It is just sad because of all the great fighters who work so hard and get robbed and others who get lumped in who are not involved.

I just saw it replayed on ESPN 2 tonight. Manfredo won easily. I can’t see how they gave it to Mora.
The preliminary fight between Jesse Brinkley and Anthony looked like a horrible decision also. Two bad decisions in a row like that is enough to turn me away from boxing again.
