Penn has filed a complaint that GSP’s cornermen put vaseline on his back in between rounds. Interesting…

I’ve seen a few animated gifs of the incident. The cornerman is rubbing GSP’s temples…then shoulders…then puts one hand on his chest and rubs his back. It really looks like he was just massaging him more so than attempting to cheat. Also, one of the red-coats wiped GSP off with a towel anyways.

I really don’t think it was an issue at all. Even if there had been a whole jar of vaseline on GSP, it wouldn’t have helped BJ avoid getting tagged and taken down.

BJ really pisses me off! What a rich boy crybaby! I’ve competed in numerous submission grappling events and regardless of vasaline once both contestants start sweating it gets diffucult to do things!
It became obvious that BJ had spent all his gas in the first round defending against GSP’s relentless tackdown attempts.

Watch the video! he had the face of a beaten man at the begining of the second round. Before he was even really on the ground.
GSP came to fight!! I dont know what BJ came to do??? Its really sad cause I’m a big Penn fan but i had a feeling that this would happen from watching those build up shows to the fight.
