Anthony the lard ass Johnson should win, this will be a fight win or lose people will compare him to Koscheck.

Hardonk vs Barry (if this goes to the ground I will quite watching mma) I expect this to bee fireworks with lots of leg kick by Barry to nullify Hardonk’s big reach. Can’t pick a winner

Okami vs Sonnen (the only undercard fight worth following) If Okami wins I would like to see him fight Marquardt to see who fights with Silva because Hendo is looking like he’s signing with Strikeforce.

The only thing going on with Henderson and the UFC is that the contractual period when the UFC gets right to match any offer (think restricted free agency), has expired. They are now trying to work out fair value… which I’m sure the 39 yr. old fighter feels needs to be a little higher than an organization looking at signing a 39 yr. old fighter.

Seriously no predictions this fight has potential to be epic.

  • Okami… not a Sonnen Fan

  • Barry… just a stylistic preference, I like Hardonk though

  • Cain but I’m hoping for Rothwell. They brought in Big Ben to hype Cain so it’ll probably turn out they way they want.

  • AJ should destroy Yoshida but stylistically this is interesting, if Yoshida can get it to the ground it will get GOOD.

  • Machida

… but goddamn I wish Shogun would win just to make things REALLY interesting. Unfortunately I don’t see how he is stylistically any different from Thiago Silva (and he got KTFO). Even if he has an iron chin and doesn’t get knocked out the chute boxe style of leap-forward-wildly-then-sit-in-the-pocket-and-swing isn’t going to work too well towards the goal of actually HITTING machida. Imo what we’re going to see is shogun move around a bit pretty well, get tagged a few times by Lyoto’s probing type shots, Shogun is a great fighter so he’ll find his range a bit, I think he’ll land a couple leg kicks but leap in to try and put his hands on him… and it’ll be the typical machida knockdown subsequently. What happens after that, I guess we’ll find out!

Yeah, I think if Shogun can get his hands on him without getting cut to ribbons it will be interesting. However, that may be a huge ‘if.’

I would like to see Sonnen win although I think he will have his hands full and better not let it go to decision.

I think Rothwell/Valesquez is a good match-up but think Valesquez will win by TKO in the 2nd. I just don’t think Rothwell can keep up the same pace.

Shogun has very good and under-rated Jiujitsu, but I’m going with Machida.

Velasquez is a takedown machine, I’m picking him.

And Okami over Sonnen.

I don’t care what you say, and I don’t care if Shogun BARELY squeeked out 3 or 4 rounds. He did not beat the champ. You must be decisive in one way or another to take a championship belt. There was nothing of the sort. Extra combo here, one or two more leg kicks there…

Shogun looked like a man trying not to lose when he should have been a man trying to take the title from someone.

Get the fuck out, barely my ass Lyoto was cut, I gurantee his ribs are broken and his leg was blue. Lyoto did what besides the one flurry.
