Twice A Day Training

I looked up some threads on this from guys who have tried it before after becoming curious about it. Having just bought a rack for my home gym and it being close to exams it would save travel time and work with my goal of fat loss.

Here’s the idea so far:

05.00 - wake up, 1 l green tea, ginger
05.30 - 50 g whey, 10 g cream, CLA, GLA, EPA/DHA, creatine, coconut oil
06.00- workout A
Eat, do stuff, then workout B around 15-16.00.

The format of the workouts have been like this:

AM:
Say it’s chest and biceps day :

Bench Press from pins
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Incline benchpress
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

DB Curl
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Hammer Curl
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

PM:
DB Curl
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Hammer Curl
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Bench Press from pins
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Incline benchpress
1-2 feel sets
6 sets of 3, ramping up

Simple, and I’ve enjoyed the three days I’ve done it like this. Any input or experiences with this type of training?

Don’t burn out.

Yes, it’s awesome. The only problem is that your food consumption sky rockets, you are literally eating your own face off and then going out and working out some more.

I don’t however repeat the same movements during different session, each session has a specific focas, 1 or 2 compounds nailed per session that is all. If I wanted to say increase the amount of bench pressing I was doing I would instead break it up into other days. Or alternatively perform heavy in one session and reps/speed in the second

Thomas Jane did twice a days for Punisher role if I remember correctly, AND he did the same workout twice as well.

You can do it this way and in the end, results speak for themselves. You could also do slightly higher reps in the PM with diff or the same moves. Be sure to de-load every 3rd or so cycle by dropping the PM work! OR go by feel…if ur still progressing, continue, if u feel like crap during an AM session = deload.

I’m not homeless, I’m Tom Jane.

HAHA!

Yeah, I’ve had that feeling. Ate whatever wasn’t nailed down.

So far it’s awesome, I feel much stronger and on during the second sessions. On a caloric deficit and planning to keep it that way, I’m not pushing intensity too much, not volume either. Might go all out on the last session, but only on 1-2 exercises.
