I seriously doubt Dana will ever have him back. I honestly only think he told him to call him in a few months is so that Jesse doesn’t sue him. There is no way that contract he currently has can allow him to release a fighter for any reason he wants even after the show was over.
If the contract did state that there would be no way it would be upheld in court. I forget the legal term but when two parties enter into contract and the contract is written by one partyA to totally favor that partyA and the other partyB has to take it or leave it.

Are you out of your mind? THis gets stupider every time I read it. What do you think the NFL does every time they cut a player? I’d be shocked if their “contracts,” if they can even be called that, dont say somehting to the effect that a fighter can be sent home for any reason or for no reason at all.
Amir vs CB was awesome. I let out a yell, “YES!,” when Amir knocked down CB at one point and when Amir caught the armbar i instant replayed it about a dozen times. I dont HATE cb, but i sure as heck wanted amir to win.
I actually thought Tim vs CB was a good fight. Certainly compared to a lot of the fights on TUF it was. It was definitely a close call, i didnt even agree with dana that the second round was CBs for certain, I didnt know who I woulda given it too. One thing that was interesting, I thought both CB and TIm looked like completely different fighters. CB tentative for the first time, Tim actually pressing the action (although still not listening to a lot of what his coaches were yelling.) What’s interesting is that before teh semis I would’ve said that Tim was the best fighter in the house, but losing his last two fights in a row … hmmmm
One other thing that’s struck me - at the beginning of the season Amir was held up as an example of what’s gone wrong with TUF, a fighter who hasnt even had a fight being brought into the house. Even now that “0-0” beside his name still looks out of place. And yet, win lose or draw on Saturday night, I’d argue that Amir is as desirable a fighter to have in the UFC, or MORE so, as anyone in that house. The kid has personality, he’s got heart, he’s got a chin and I think he has TREMENDOUS upside. I dont know how long he’s been training, but if this is the level he’s at before he’s even had a fight, I have to believe he’s going to get better. Understand, I’m not saying that the UFC had all this in mind, or that they picked him for the right reasons - I think they lucked into it, picking a kid who’s a little out there and makes for good tv and just happened to have provided the most compelling storyline, and some of the most compelling fights of the season. I could be wrong, maybe Amir just had the 4 win fight-streak of his life and he’ll never be as good as he is right now, but even if that’s so … oh man, what a ride.
